Dangote was still basically a young trader and hadn't moved into manufacturing yet.

Was it not this same period he was involved with Jim Nwobodo and his failed Savannah Bank venture ?

For all we know they siphoned depositors funds .

This was the period IBB liberalised merchant banking with virtually all the newly licensed banks failing few years later due to high level fraud and theft of depositors funds by bank execs and staff.

These are the same people who believe that Louis Ojukwu loaned the British Empire billions of Pounds during WW2 to fight the Germans and that the British refused to support Biafra because Louis Ojukwu's son was behind it and that Ojukwu Jnr was demanding that the British pay his father the money they owed him which they claimed was £2 Trillion pounds at the time the cil war broke out.

Louis Ojukwu did own a trucking company and ferried goods from northern Nigeria to support the British war effort and for this he got his knighthood.

But to them, Ojukwu Snr borrowed the British billions to fight the Germans.

Peter Obi said he never borrowed and didn't owe salary as Anambra governor. Soludo’s government produced figures and records challenging that claim. Instead of countering with facts, his defenders have offered “jealousy,” "godfather to Soludo’s child" stories, and many more bulshit. None of that addresses the evidence. So what exactly is the point of verifying when the only expected “counter” is more useless noise?

My mind still de tell me, if we truly dig into this guy's history, we may find that he is even the so-called drug baron that Mr Okeke could have found materials on. Do not forget that there are already hush-hush allegations against him.

His supporters want us to believe that he finish NYSC in 1986 and by 1987 he suddenly could afford not even a flat but a 1M pound house in the UK.

Even hard-working British citizens can make that claim.

Even the one he claimed to have bought in 1996, the way he makes the claim, you would think he made a down payment. I am almost ready to swear with Megggy's expensive handbag that if you subject his claim to more scrutiny, you will find that it was a mortgage that he probably did not pay to the end if he even really ever bought a house in the UK.

I can imagine him telling the mortgage bank that a mortgage is not a loan since he already made an initial deposit.
