When Remi Tinubu harvested her vegetables last year from her Aso villa garden, I quickly joined the trend to plant yams in my little garden area behind my house here in Abuja city center.
So today, I decided to harvest the yam by my window and to my surprise I got a 19k monster yam harvest.
Guys, pounded yam and bush meat thick egusi soup will follow this evening 😋.

I can only see big and small breasts everywhere, I couldn't see any yam bro. Did you cultivate the yam on top rock or the land wasn't soft for the yam to follow one channel.

I'm interested in all this small scale farming but it's someone that has small space for his backyard can venture into it.

In my father's house we have different kind of plant from Ugwu, Saint leaf, bitter leaf, water leaf, lemon grass, aloe vera, ewedu, banana, plantain etc.

I pray may God bless me enough when it's time to build my own house to have enough land I can cultivate a garden too.

You didn't dig the soil well,when planting it. The yam was dodging a lot of obstacles in the ground, hence it's roughness.. and you no even still allowed the innocent yam mature. The leave is still fresh..

Planting a garden in your compound is health therapy. Seeing the crops grow every morning can heal you of so many sicknesses especially the ones that concerns the heart.

This yam has the potential to grow more. Should have left it till December.

19kg keh!? You dey deceive yourself...do you know what is 19kg?? 19kg is almost 2 cartons of chicken...that thing over there doesn't look like it can weigh above 4kg

Yes...it was just planted on small ridge at the back house. Planted it around May.this year
Never knew it would become a monster yam in 4 months.
Me sef shock. I de even suspect the Yam. it's presently sitting in my living room incase it changes to my village people....😄😁
