Apple is an American company that has an image to protect. They're headquartered and design their products in US and get materials from all over and ASSEMBLE about 70% of the phones in China. Don't compare that to knockoff Chinese companies that intentionally make products to easily break!

What they are going to add to their phone in the next 20 years is already in their laboratory.

The blame is on those who change their phones yearly but then again, can we complain about how people decide to spend their money? No but if a phone has to be changed yearly, it shouldn’t be an iPhone because Apple don’t render their older phones useless and old-schooled unlike the Android makers.
Why is everyone even sounding as if Apple are the most notorious for this? Why is nobody talking about Samsung and the rest of them? Why is nobody talking about transsion that can release 10 million different models in 3months?😂😂
You buy camon 1 today and by next week, there’s already camon 37 on the market and they wonder why their phones aren’t valued. Y’all don’t get the ingenuity behind the Apple’s model. I’m glad that Samsung also is now copying this model.
Humans generally want to be seen as being relevant. Apple make you feel relevant. The fact that they make sure that their new flagships don’t always heavily outperform or outclass their immediate predecessors ultimately makes those using those older predecessors feel valued and wanted. This is the reason why someone using the 14 promax or 15 promax or even the 13promax still feels relevant in 2026 because according to Apple, the latest one isn’t significantly better than those models (just minor minor changes)
Again, Android makers pressure people into changing their phones more than Apple do but it’s sad and funny that many of you don’t realize this😂
Apple save you more money honestly.

Every year Apple will release a new version of its iPhone. And then you see people scrambling to buy it.

But a closer look at the so called newer model you can not differentiate the older ones and new one aside the placing of it cameras and menu arrangements.

So I ask should Apple Inc continue to produce every year new models what do they expect their customers to do with the last year models.

It is partly a branding and marketing issue. They want to be known as the company that has the coolest graphics and latest technology. I think is came from Steve Jobs. Although, I think Samsung is as good as them but in U.S. they seem to be leading Samsung in marketing

Nobody is forcing anybody to buy every year na. I change my phone every 3 to 4 years and it still serves me well. iPhones also hold resale value, so when I finally upgrade I sell the old one and add small money. Yearly release is for people who want the latest, the rest of us just buy when we are ready.
