The Super Eagles need to approach this game with seriousness. If we secure 3 points tomorrow, we will qualify after match day 4. We will defeat Tanzania both at home and away in November, and I expect Guinea-Bissau and Madang to split points. We can use the last two qualifiers to test some new players against African opponents. I still want to see the midfield trio of Iwobi, Akinsamiro, and Nnadi.

The NFF is an absolute disgrace. The pitch that the Super Eagles will be playing on against Guinea-Bissau today should never have been approved by CAF. That South African CAF president, like many others from South Africa, has been quietly undermining us, and no one seems to be speaking up about it. Players are at risk of injury on that terrible pitch today.

I watched the South Africa vs. Guinea match on Saturday and couldn’t help but think, South Africa has a pitch like this, yet CAF allowed us to play on that goat farm pitch when we played them during the world cup qualifiers. During the World Cup qualifier against them, Ola Aina sustained a serious injury that kept him out for almost a year. The nonsense that CAF is pulling with Nigeria is something they would never attempt with the North African countries.

Yeah, of course that was dark arts by SA. Meanwhile for today's game, our players need to be careful, they don't want to get hurt, Aina can be benched if necessary to avoid PTSD for him. And Chelle should adapt his tactics considering the pitch.
I would really love to have Onyedika play, I think his vision for long balls would benefit George who likes to run in behind defenders. But Chelle is married to his diamond formation.

Yes very difficult profession but to we fans it's simple, imagine Christian Metu now jogging ball for fans to watch. He was in Uyo to jog and Super eagles players were surprised that under 17 WC winner is jogging for fees, his mate Taiwo Awoniyi still playing... Awoniyi can't take it he just did the needful for his mate and promised more....
