Ronaldo Leaves Portugal training Camp Amid Rift With Coach, Jorge Jesus by fergie001(op): 8:55pm On Sep 30
CR7 was an unused substitute in Portugal's 2-1 away win against Norway
Rare photos showed a petulant Ronaldo heading to the dressing room immediately after the final whistle, signalling a rift with the selecao coach, Jorge Jesus

After the National Team Coach's press conference, and following a conversation with the President of the Portuguese Football Federation, I made the decision to leave the National Team camp.

In due time, I will tell the truth to all Portuguese people about the reasons that motivated my departure from the national team, to which I have always dedicated myself.

Now is the time to wish good luck to Portugal and to all my teammates, without exception.
Cristiano Ronaldo

🚨🇵🇹 Cristiano Ronaldo has left the national team camp. Our preparations for the next games continue with our 24 players with maximum focus on the results”.

Ego.

A destroyer of fame and reasoning.

Well, if at this point CR7 retires, he has written his name on the sands of football evolution.

Happy retirement in advance!

Re: Ronaldo Leaves Portugal training Camp Amid Rift With Coach, Jorge Jesus by AdamuKD: 10:21pm On Sep 30
He should go and rest. It's high time jare
Very selfish guy. Had it been the players before him didn't give him chance and opportunity to showcase his young talents, will he be where he is today? Very anyhow person. You have paid your dues and sacrificed everything for your country and your club. Had it been you respected yourself and leave when the ovation is high. It would not have gotten to this show of shame and embarrassment.

Not starting is the problem. He was an unused substitute. How can he reach his target of 1000 goals if they didn't use him at all. Even if it is 20mins, let them help him to help himself to achieve his goal.
Even if he didn't score, he will be happy.

Ronaldo's time is done. He has no business playing for the national team. His presence stifles the talents and abilities of the younger guys in the team. He has done enough for Portugal. He stays longer, he becomes a villain.
Portugal plays better without him in the picture anyways.

CR7 is about to lose it all. What is it that remains in the National team of Portugal? At 41 his reflexes are no longer the same. He is pushing himself too far and that is not lost on the coach. The dancer who thrilled everyone should know when to leave the stage.

Ronaldo and Tinubu have so many things in common. It's all about their ego and pride. They fail to see that they no longer have anything good to offer. Only shame awaits them at this moment.

I used to be his biggest fan but after the disgraceful world cup showing I think Portugal should look elsewhere. Ronaldo has 11 Goals from 6 world cups which is about 2 goals per world cup while Erling Haarland has 7 goals from his first world cup.
