SS2 Female Boarding Student Leaves School to Meet 200level University Boyfriend Shortly After Resumption.

A Nigerian woman has shared a troubling account involving her SS2 niece, who allegedly left her boarding school shortly after her parents dropped her off and went to meet a university student she was reportedly in a relationship with.

According to the woman, her niece was taken to boarding school by her parents on Sunday morning. Later that same day, the woman said she was travelling in a Keke when she noticed someone who looked exactly like her niece on a busy road, holding hands with a young man.

She said she tried to get a closer look, but before the Keke could drop her off, she lost sight of the pair. Worried, she immediately called the girl's mother to find out whether her niece was at home. It was then that her sister confirmed that the girl had been taken to school earlier that morning.

The woman said she became increasingly concerned and decided to travel to the school herself rather than immediately telling the girl's mother what she had seen, explaining that she wanted to be certain before raising an alarm.She reportedly arrived at the school at about 9 p.m., after travelling for roughly an hour.

At the school gate, she told the security guard that she needed to collect something from her niece. According to her, she initially gave the impression that the girl had her house key and that she only needed the key without entering the school premises.

The security guard reportedly informed the house mistress, who came to the gate with a flashlight. The woman said the house mistress recognized her as someone who usually visited the girl during visiting days and agreed to have the student bring the supposed key.

However, after searching for the girl, the house mistress returned and said she could not find her.

The woman said another house mistress later revealed that she had seen the student leaving the school gate earlier that afternoon. According to the explanation given at the time, the girl allegedly claimed that her father had instructed her to follow them to a supermarket to pick up something and that she would return shortly. She was reportedly signed out by the morning security personnel.

The woman then disclosed what she had seen earlier that day. The girl's parents were contacted, but her father reportedly denied sending his daughter anywhere and said they had already purchased everything she would need until their next visit.

The discovery reportedly left the girl's mother devastated, with the woman saying her sister cried throughout the night.The girl, who reportedly does not have a phone, was back in school by Monday morning.

Her mother subsequently confronted her and demanded to know where the young man she had allegedly spent the night with lived. The family reportedly involved the police, who went with them to the location provided by the girl. According to the account, the young man was identified as a second-year university student.

The woman said that while they were on their way to the location, her niece was crying and pleading with the police not to arrest the young man. She reportedly told them that if they arrested him, they should arrest her as well. Her father, however, had reportedly already informed the police that he wanted the young man arrested.

Following the arrest, the girl became extremely distressed and reportedly engaged in behaviour that caused serious concern for her immediate safety. Her family and those around her became worried about her emotional state.

The young man, who was reportedly still in police custody at the time of the account, was said to be reassuring the girl, repeatedly calling her “baby” and telling her that he would not leave her. The girl was also reportedly referring to him as her “babe.”

The woman's account further stated that the student had stopped participating in school activities and had reportedly refused food since Monday. Her mother was therefore planning to take her home from the boarding school.

The incident has reportedly left the family deeply concerned about the girl's safety, her relationship with the university student, and how she was able to leave the school premises without her parents' knowledge.

The situation has also raised questions about boarding-school security, student supervision, communication between school authorities and parents, and the need for adults to respond carefully when teenagers become emotionally attached to older partners.

The woman concluded by asking whether her sister should remove the girl from boarding school or keep her there while making changes to ensure closer supervision and support.

They may actually be age mates but the one in secondary school is at the receiving end if their affair leads to sex. Some 200level.students are barely 16 years which is the age of most SS2 students especially public schools.

Most people who miss it in life always have that unmet gap by their parents. That I know. Successful parenting, like all forms of success, always leaves a trail. If you follow that path, you will end up same way succesful parents ended and if you don't follow their path, you will fail. Na your choice and it does not matter what you think.

Set great god-fearing examples, instil in them the right value of integrity, excellence, patience, hardwork, teamwork, humility, justice, delayed gratification, intense study, loyalty, patriotism and demand they follow your great examples, get involved full time in your children's life, toil hard and legitimately to acquire the resources to fund their dreams and aspirations in life and insist that they keep only quality association.

Before saying "I do". Don't settle for less in your quality choice of spouse. Marry ONLY quality wife/husband material. They are rare and hard to get but the 'trick' is to first be a quality wife/husband material you yourself. Be loyal and faithful to your spouse, Love, cherish and treat your children's mum as a Queen (and their father as a King if you are the mum/step mum).
