The police are made up of jokers.
Few days ago,an apc state chairman threatened opposition presidential candidates with AK-47 fire and none of the police agencies have invited him.

Some weeks ago an apc LGA chairman from Abuja threatened citizens who do not vote for Tinubu to leave.
Police did not invite him.

Much as I advocate for those stoking the flames of war to either be invited or apprehended,the security agencies should ensure they are not partisan in their approach.

They equally go for apc politicians who are also threatening and calling for violence on citizens.

Why am I even surprised?
Is it not the presidency that controls the entire security system in Nigeria?

Politics should never get to the point where displaying firearms becomes part of the show. Whatever the political affiliation, weapons and political rallies are a dangerous combination.

People should be free to support their candidates without intimidation, while security agencies should apply the law fairly and consistently to everyone.

If we allow weapons to become a symbol of political power today, what kind of political culture are we preparing for tomorrow?
