He argued that if subsidy is returned, Nigerians would pay the price “in inflation and in a collapsing currency”.
Was there no inflation before 2023?

Was the currency not collapsing before 2023?

Abeg find another excuse.

This Ayodele has nothing in his brain. Na coconut head he gets. I thought he is competent and will be able to rejuvenate our economy.

When Buhari was in reign, he was making economic suggestions. But when BAT came in, he was appointed chairman Presidential tax reformed committee. He messed by taxing even unborn child

Now as minister of finance, his policy is shameful

AMINDA:
How does supplying crude oil to local refiners at a reduced rate lead to higher fuel prices? If Tinubu's government does not know how to go about things, it should be humble enough to ask and be willing to do it properly, not just haphazardly as they've been doing on stolen ideas. When everyone in the same room thinks alike, speaks the same language and is from the same part of the country, it becomes an echo chamber. This is no way to govern a country.

You think it's by sitting in an office, you think you know what you are doing. Emefieke did fuel subsidy and pegged naira at around 500naira.

This one didn't go to school...Incompetence everywhere in Tinubu's govt.

“…like we saw before this current administration “

Who printed 30 trillion in the LAST administration? What party was he under? Where was Master Strategist and wha was he doing?

Deliberately supported failure so that he could have a chance at the Presidency and now feeling like the messiah whereas he was the architect of the destruction of the economy!

This us the most clueless, useless, inept, and insensitive regime Nigeria has ever had. They gibberish of their hypocritical deft wickedness to deceive the people. As if when subsidy was in place in other regimes we didn't buy fuel even far cheaper with far better exchange rate

He used to sound reasonable, but the moment politics happened to him, he suspended the use of his brain and smeared his conscience with red hot iron. Bloody liar he has become over time.

Maybe you think you're dealing with shallow thinkers here.

Show us one mention of the current president's name in that writeup of yours. Just one but you mentioned a former president's name more than once in that writeup .

When caught pants down, you guys resort to insults and violence, one of the reasons sane people reduced their activities on NL.

We cannot be punished for our God given resources.

Buhari's government came under economic and natural attacks.

Buhari was seeing red all through his government in oil revenue. Covid came in but he managed to keep the government afloat and signed the electoral amendment bill and the PIB including the LG autonomous bill.

That's governance from a dullard but the so called NADECO freedom fighter who has no foresight but a sleek tongue to tell lies was on the street to protest against GEJ when he said same subsidy had to go.

The druqqie is simply a failed visionary if he claims today what he called government insensitivity to the plight of the people.
Vision101:
Buhari sustained subsidy with 30 trillion ways and means. That's part of the debt stock of today. That's part of the inflation of today. That's part of forward sales of crude that we are battling today. We have warned Nigerians to beware of anybody that proposes return of subsidy.

This FG is one of the worst in history.

Check my post history. I am pro APC and pro Tinubu.

Both have been massive failures.

I was extremely critical of OBJ. But he's been the best since 1999.

Governance has gotten progressively worse.

I have NEVER earned in Naira. Buhari's calamitous rule made me really rich. But what of the majority, over 90% that were impoverished?

I supported Buhari replacing GEJ in 2015 because GEJ was really clueless but after Buhari showed he was 1000% worse, the worst thing Nigerians did was not replacing him in 2019 with Atiku.

This is not because I feel Atiku is a Messiah but we REALLY needed another option since Buhari had confirmed himself as a failure.

Global oil barrel prices will go up ... FG will say that's the reason fuel is expensive. Then it will go down and then they say since revenue e has reduced, thats why fuel is expensive.
lol, if you were smart by half, you would have seen the signs. But you were blinded by whatever you wanted it to be!
