Jumping on this post, be careful padding your resume with training programs like Tritek, Amdari, and similar providers. A friend of mine had their government agency offer terminated after background checks questioned their claim of work experience from a training program (such as listing "3 years as a Data Analyst" at Tritek). It's all hustle until things go south. Focus on accredited professional certifications rather than inflating short courses as experiences.

wow, not surprised as organisations have stopped recognising all those training courses as valid work experience and to think so many are still patronising these courses and paying huge amounts is mind boggling. They are best listed as courses rather than work experience.

Can someone please help me out with this concern? I submitted an application as a dependant for a visa extension. While I was completing the form, I said no to the question about whether I have had a visa refusal from another country. I forgot that my visa application to visit Morocco in August, which was an e-visa, was refused.

Should I be worried? What should I do? I submitted the application on Friday.

Please, I need your urgent response.

Thank you

Who is an ethnic English (not even British, but English?)

Suella Vs Kemi
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by abuhusna1: 5:28pm On Oct 09
Who would have thought Kemi once identified first as nigerian and asking nigeria community for support for her political campaign now she doesn't care about Nigeria and Nigerians.

She's pandering to her voting base. Been a while since she said something controversial.

I always stress to people I know that you should never portray training as work experience. It’s better to put it as “Trainee Data Analyst” (never just “Data Analyst”). You can go into detail in the description and state that it was unpaid. Obviously, you will be held accountable for it because the CS agency will always cross-check your experience with HMRC records. Even in the private sector, it’s not worth it.

hmmm @the bolded. A serious matter, especially if you claim that experience is UK based, no way you can defend that after an HMRC check

Well, someone lost an already assigned and approved visa over this. The already sponsored employee’s visa was withdrawn by the employer because they carried out further checks even after the CoS had been issued.

The worst part is that the person was on another visa in a different sector. Now they are out of the UK.

I know how, when my wife got her current job, every employer on her HMRC profile was checked and verified with all the previous employers; it was one hell of a scrutiny, including the different names of the agencies that appear there but the same organisation payroll.

Brethren, has anyone attempted to get a US B1/B2 visa to the US with their Nigerian passport? I’d assumed the new bond payment arrangement would cover and allow travel. Is that not the case?

This is sad, but somehow the person must have been poor at the job to make them carry out further checks much later into the job.
