Not true at all. If you are ready, I can take you or anyone else on anytime and anyday to show Tinubu, given the huge challenge he met on ground is a big success, in comparison to all other Presidents since 1999.

Yorubas like me are not backing him blindly. We simply see and fully understand what he is doing differently to others, in terms of initiating brave and unavoidable reforms that are the only solutions if we wish to become a developed nation like Singapore.

See, I don't understand why a well-adjusted, progressive and reasonable adult will read what is shown below about fuel subsidy removal Tinubu carried out, along with gradual subsidy removal in the power sector plus removal of Naira subsidy etc, and still continue to declare Tinubu has failed.

Do you guys want to be be like the nations Nigerian have been japa-ing to since the days of Andrew in the eighties, long before Tinubu became a politician, or do you wish to back a President and his reforms that will transform Nigeria into a developed nation no Nigerian will wish to live and other abroad will return to ?

Go to the section, below, titled "What Nigeria needs for developed status" and tell me which of the recommendation Tinubu is not doing whereas previous Presidents ignored virtually all of them

If I will be critical of the PBAT Government it will be to advise it to work hardest delivering palliatives to cushion the blows of reforms. Otherwise, to those who know the problems and understand solutions required, it is obvious PBAT is Nigeria's best President by far since 1999.

Interesting read. Shehu Sani is a highly intelligent chap always reasonable, progressive and focused on what is best for his nation and Nigerians.

His talk about rotation of power is spot on and he makes the same point I make always which is that truncating it, by a Northerner winning during what is the slot of the South, is a development taking us into uncharted waters.

Of course, predictably the South, especially the SW, will be disgruntled with Nigeria and likely to agitate and become restive creating a difficult tenure for whoever is President and likely setting Nigeria on the part of break-up.

Yorubas are capable of achieving it as they are never ready to be second class to anyone which the end of rotation will signify since the North can keep power perpetually.

We saw Yorubas move over the Abiola Saga and Against Abacha with actions ultimately culminating in Yoruba 1999 Presidency and the creation of rotation itself for future and lasting peace and equity between North and South.

We cannot forget only Yoruba leaders had the ball to demand regional autonomy under Buhari in 2021 when 5 APC Governors, from Buhari's own Party, and one Non-APC Governor demanded Six autonomous regions for Nigeria.

Rotation of the presidency is not meant for north and the SW.
It's the turn of the SE Igbo in 2023 and 2027.
Tinubu usurped the turn of the Igbo in 2023.
Obasanjo used the turn of the SW between 1999-2007.

YOUR THREAT OF YORUBA SECESSION.

Tinubu sponsored the Yoruba Nation (Oduduwa Republic) agitators before the last presidential election. It was his Plan B in case outgoing Buhari refused to hand Nigeria over to Tinubu.

Oduduwa Republic agitators waved the flags of Oduduwa Republic supporting Tinubu on the grounds of London's Chatham House while Tinubu was speaking inside the house during the last presidential election campaign.

Sunday Igboho publicly said that Tinubu is his mentor, of course Tinubu has demonstrated that.

Because northerners kept quiet during the 8yrs of Buhari pushed us to this because if they had chased buhari out in 2019 then we wouldn’t have gotten to this level.. Same thing will apply to Tinunbu if we don’t complain and try to push Tinunbu out then we will still complain because he will still push us into more abject poverty..because we failed to push him out and still he will sink us into hyperinflation..nothing will change if we continue to reward failure with nepotism and incompetence. Please don’t let us reward him with second term .

I'm a northerner myself and the truth is we northerners are not honest with ourselves, we have Senator Shehu still roaming about, we have seen northern hegemony threaten whosoever try to expose their failings once it boils down to banditry and the likes (one happened recently in Zamfara and they have even start with their threats to the guy's mum). There are villages in which killing is like breathing in air, in fact, some of the people in the community live side by side with the bandits and they are always at the mercy of the bandits. Most of the villages in Zamfara, some parts of Plateau, Katsina, Sokoto, Niger state can testify to that.

We northerners are not serious and I don't regret saying that. Still, Tinubu reading on insecurity is a big negative.

Look, it isn't by your judgement alone. The output of Ministers is quantified by Key Performance Indicators (KPI) framework and performance bonds managed through the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

They all have specific performance goals and targets. You don't have 24/7 power does not mean the Minister for power is failing.

This is what we kept telling many of you about Adelabu, former Minister of power, who actually improved power supply plus introduced gradual removal of government subsidy in the power sector, with banding, which is critical to Nigerians paying cost-reflective tariffs that is crucially required to rescue our fully deregulated power sector.

We will never get constant power if we cannot attract investors to spend their capital on investing in our power sector if they cannot make profit on their investment, because government subsidy, meant Nigerians previously did not pay the real cost of generation, transmission and distribution of power.

A situation which cannot work or be part of a fully deregulated power sector crying for private investor funds yet they are not coming despite. Nigeria having by far the largest population in Africa and , on paper, an attractive investment destination.

These are the evil of subsidies, weaponised poverty and tools of underdevelopement in reality, some of us warn about and why they must go if Nigeria is to become developed.

To someone well-informed about the power sector, obvious Adelabu is a success for identifying the key problem and putting in place an action plan that will deliver over time.

To the average Nigerian, who is often ignorant of the scale of the problem and solutions required then Adelabu is a failure for not giving him power 24/7.

Even if you sit Nigerians down to explain the challenges and how solutions will be gradual, since Nigeria does not have even a fraction of the money required to transform the power sector overnight as many ignorantly demand, many will still insist Adelabu has failed.

Tinubu government killed more bandit leaders within 2023 and 2024 more than Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari did in 13 years of their combined presidency. The facts are there to see but when a people are forgetful and filled with hatred because the subsidy beneficiaries who are tge importers are financing insecurity as a fight back then it would seem that insecurity is not being tackled.

The insecurity of today as bad as it is, is better than how it was before president Tinubu government came in 2023.

Former Senator for Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar for the presidency.

The former lawmaker announced his endorsement in a Twitter post on Monday, advising the former vice president to choose a VP that can work with him as a team.

This is why I pity the Obidient online terrorist cult group that are doing everything to please a Northerner who don't give a damn about you.

As it stands if you remove the Middle belt from the 19 Northern states they are powerless politically.

I heard an Hausa guy said that he prefer becoming a dog than allow an Igbo Christian man rule him. CAN YOU ALL IMAGINE THAT huh

The North see themselves as born to rule and also King makers.

Even if Obi become president today (an Igbo man for that matter), the North will frustrate the hell out of his Government, Obi will run away from Aso Rock within 3 month after swearing in. They tried it with Jonathan and it worked so they now see it as a very good weapon to use on the South.

They are doing same with incompetent Tinubu but that man have Coconut head and he know how to play the game.

NOTE: I stayed in the North and I experienced lot of crisis and I know what they are capable of.

POWER MUST REMAIN IN THE SOUTH UNTIL 2031.

May God help us

The bolded is bunkum and shows the self-inflicted damage SE has done, and will always do, against herself playing toxic, hateful and food-is-ready politics.

Power rotates between North and South. Simple. Turn of the South, players in the region negotiate and settle within themselves.

Ditto when it is the turn of the North. This is why Fulanis alone have produced Yar Adua and Buhari since 1999 with Atiku , also Fulani, the Northern front runner in 2023 and now 2027.

Do you hear others in the North, like Hausas and Kanuris etal, making micro-zoning and entitlement noise , as if others owe them anything, as you Igbos do with your "emilokan" noise particularly targeted against Yorubas as if we owe you anything?

Why can't Edo's, Urhobos, Itsekiris etc insist it is their turn as you people always do when it it the turn of the South? Are they not Southerners also? Or you are better than them?

Do you then not see the central point which is that zoning favours the biggest, most successfully powerful and best entrenched ethnic groups which is the Fulanis in the North and Yorubas in the South?

If you choose to fight, insult and malign us, making everything toxic and hate-filled, what assistance or concession should you expect from us?

You go around insisting it is your automatic turn when Presidency is zoned to the South, specifically and arrogantly making threats against Yorubas you should be courting , when there is no micro-zoning as North proves with Fulani dominance of Northern Presidency.

Rather than partner with Yorubas and other Southerners, you always prefer to fight, attack and curse everyone, especially the Yorubas, only to play victim when sidelined.

Look, Yorubas will swing behind the SS in 2031 by the grace of God. Keep playing your politics of hate, toxicity and entitlement to be expecting a different outcome. Continue burning your bridges with the Yorubas. Good luck to you.

Per your talk about Yoruba "secession" you are misguided. I did not tell you it is a desire of Yorubas. My specific point is that Yorubas have worked out clearly how they wish to live while recognising the North wishes to live a different way.

Like parallel lines that will never meet. This is why it is crucial we , or a Southerner we see as progressive from the SS, get's to be in power for 8 years slot of the South.

No way will we accept a situation where the North, backwards in thinking and lifestyle ( the statistics are there) will be sole rulers of Nigeria for ages which truncation of the rotation arrangement may cause.

It would be like the Taliban leading Britain indefinitely. We won't accept that and will do something about it. We aren't going back to Egypt.

That is not a threat. Just what Yorubas, a progressive people, have always done and will always do. Atiku promising a return to fuel subsidy, just to be President, is proof the most prominent leaders from his region are not progressive overall and unlikely to ever deliver leadership.to move Nigeria forward.

Then you posted another comment to show your disgust that Tinubu appointed a competent retired general from a zone that did not vote for him in 2023 as Minister of Defense. So, what point exactly are you trying to make? Tinubu should appoint substantive Ministers only from states he won? Is that how to put together a competent team that is devoid of mediocrity? Ehn omo Obi?
Are you not even ashamed to respond at all? Did Tinubu not attack GEJ over insecurity? Did he not address GEJ as “Jonathan”? Did he not call for the removal of GEJ over insecurity? Did Tinubu not promise that Buhari would tackle insecurity if elected the President? Did Shettima not promise to handle insecurity, while Tinubu who built the economy of Lagos take it upon himself to bud the Nigerian economy? Did Tinubu not tell us that he and Buhari are the same?

What is there to say anymore? Why would the citizens not hold Tinubu responsible for the insecurity in the country, in his capacity as the sitting President and commander in chief of the armed forces?

Some of you are simply not ashamed of some things that you say or the manner of your thinking. You repeatedly play the tribal card and accuse others of doing the same.

Tinubu did not win in the SE in 2023, yet he is the President of Nigeria, that covers the entire SE. APC has three Governors in the SE and yet you want APC to have all the states of the region, while you do not want other parties to win any state in the SW. What you cannot tolerate, you accuse others of dishing it out.

Yoruba and APC governors demanded six autonomous regions and it is very acceptable to you. The SE has repeatedly requested to leave the country and it is an illegitimate request. Why not support it and have your peace, if you believe that the SE is a problem to the nation Nigeria?

Again, is it not a shame that the gas master plan of the nation does not cover the SE where the same gas is produced? Is that the equity that you talked about? The same gas that adds to the economy is is part of the FAAC shared by the FG to all states and LGAs? Learn to go to equity with clean hands.

Meanwhile, if you think that SE is a problem, simply agree for the area to move on and become a nation of their own, if you care for equity.

You are threatening and badmouthing the north; the same north from where you expect Tinubu to get most of his votes.

The same threat of Yoruba Nation agitation for the last presidential election in 2023. You think the north will fall into your secession threat again in 2027.

Look my friend, Tinubu made much of Nigerians paupers. A good leader on economic reform will first put the citizens immediate welfare into place.
Tinubu never considered the possible repercussions of his reforms on the citizens.
North, East, West and South of Nigeria reject Tinubu's bid for 2nd term as president of Nigeria.
