"I think the best way for you to know that Peter Obi did not win the 2023 Election, is to look at the Southeast numbers. It is scientifically impossible for you to have a 93% turnout, and one person will get 93% of the votes. It's not possible. Are there not assembly members? Are there not reps members..." — Otunba Segun Showunmi

Peter Obi himself said he doesn't have any evidence to proof he won. He just knows he won by instinct. Which means Sowore can also wake up and say he won by instinct. And the funny thing is Obi followers believes him. I wonder how their brains are wired. |

Within the last 3 years, Segun has defended the 3 major presidential aspirants..., viciously too. He defended Atiku as a member of his inner circle. He eulogised Obi to no end about 2 years ago. Now he is is the biggest megaphone for Amoda Chicago Chagoury Yekini. That must be a world record Segun needs to have atleast 3 mouths on his face. That way the job of speaking towards different directions will be far more easier. |

I really don't understand the fixation on the 2023 elections by both the ruling party and opposition. It's less than a year to the next one and you're still on this ? Obi said he won but he can't prove it . Amuda Sangodele said he won "fair and square" and the court backed his claim. So ...next abeg |

It is close to 4 years after and we are still talking about whether Obi won or not.... Is it not clear that if he had won, there would have been more LP senators in the house than APC or PDP. Because the senate and presidential elections were conducted on the same day. |

Segun Showunmi comes across as a politician without any discernible principles, jumping from one political camp to another in search of relevance and political patronage. To me, he represents many of the things that are fundamentally wrong with Nigerian politics. Is he a scientist conducting a rigorous statistical analysis to conclude that it is virtually impossible for Peter Obi to secure 93% of the votes in the Southeast? On what empirical evidence is that conclusion based? Even the television anchor appeared to recognise the weakness of his argument. I am increasingly frustrated by some Southwest politicians who seem unashamed of their ethnic bigotry and skewed political analysis simply because their kinsman, President Bola Tinubu, is the beneficiary. Political analysis should be guided by facts, evidence, and intellectual honesty, not ethnic loyalty. Have we so quickly forgotten that, in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2015, the Southeast consistently demonstrated its willingness to support presidential candidates from other parts of Nigeria? The region has, at different times, voted massively for candidates who were not Igbo. Does this history count for nothing? Or are some people deliberately ignoring it because it does not suit their present political narrative? We must learn to be honest and intellectually responsible in our political discourse. Give every region its due recognition and acknowledge its political choices without resorting to stereotypes, dismissive rhetoric, or conveniently distorted analysis. There is nothing intellectually sophisticated about dressing up ethnic prejudice as political analysis. If we genuinely want a better Nigeria, we must learn to separate facts from partisan sentiment and give people and regions their deserved credit, even when their choices do not align with our political interests. |

Since three years ago that the elections has been conducted and concluded, and he’s still talking about it, and more especially now that another election is around the corner. He should leave PO alone and focus on the candidate he is supporting. |

How do people come out with such postulation in public ? Lets be honest Mr peter Obi won in all the southern states and parts of the northern states but the establishment changed these figures . Some were added to the pdp and some to the apc that's why he ended up been third. Hopefully come 2027. this mistake would be corrected. |

The only APC has to campaign on is Anti-Peter Obi. Why not present ur achievements and plans for the future just as Peter Obi is doing. Why all the attacks mounted on him, unless of he truly won 2023 and y'all are scared |

Everybody knows that he didn't win. He was so embarrassed and the only way to make up for the embarrassment is to claim rigging, when in fact, South East rigged the most. How can you claim victory in an election that you came 3rd? How does that even make sense? Asin, it beggars belief. I see educated people even making that assertion and I wonder. Their only excuse is Rivers state, but rivers state has less than 1m total valid votes. What that means is that even 100% of the votes cast in Rivers is still not enough to make him winner, so again, how did the gbajue crooner win? Obi is just a soar loser and he will come up with worse claims in 2027 Good thing is, Nigerians have seen through him and will not give him that attention he so desperately craves. Fucking narcissist! |

This one just want to pay his dues because he just joined APC, before and after 2023 general election he never spoke against Peter Obi, he seriously condemned the outcome of 2023 election because he was in PDP. Now he has lost his senses because he just joined the evil party. |

Tooreda:He won according to your deluded analysis. Why do you people keep deceiving yourselves? Who sabi Obi for core northern states of Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa, Borno, Bauchi and Yobe States? If he cannot gets good numbers from these states, he has no pathway to victory. |
