lawani:
Nigeria has damaged all groups and not only Igbos
The only thing the Yoruba gained in Nigeria is that the number one city is on their land but before the British the number one city in west Africa was also on their land.

Let everybody focus on dismantling the country so that all groups can face their land and develop it without inhibition
I used to think like this BUT trust me, it is far much better to restructure the country and restructure the governance structure than to split into small republics.
The best of us would be like Benin Republic or Togo or Gambia. It is a bad idea.

Our greatest asset is our population: once we split, we lose that asset and economic development would be impossible

there is no damage that has been done to Nigeria that is more than having a president that is associated with drug issuess in the US. This is a national disaster. This action has driven a lot of investors. In fact, it has brought a huge global disgrace to us

The same people again? Of course, the same people, because the issues have not disappeared.

Since 1999, no Igbo person from the Southeast has been elected President of Nigeria. The Southeast remains the only geopolitical zone with five states, while others have six or seven. There are longstanding complaints about federal appointments, road infrastructure, railway development and the absence of a seaport in the region.

Yes, Enugu has an international airport, and the Second Niger Bridge has been completed. Nobody should deny that. But does that mean every concern about the region's development has been resolved?

If Odumeje raises these issues, why attack the people instead of addressing the arguments? Is asking for fairness a crime?

Ogun State deserves development, and so does the Southeast. This is not about denying another region its share of national resources. It is about asking whether every part of Nigeria is receiving a fair opportunity to grow.

The question is simple: if these grievances are unfounded, why not disprove them with facts instead of saying, "The same people again"?

God did not create the Igbos to remain in one country with your sort forever. Because of your dependence on cheap cash from crude oil and gas in the southeast and southsouth, you refuse freedom from the Igbo you detest.

How do you know the two tribes are not same? What if they share a common ancestor 10,000 years ago? You talk like the world just started 10 years ago.
The fact that the two tribes live in proximity with each other in west Africa increases the odds of having a common ancestor.

You come to the east to evacuate huge gas deposits for Kaduna and Ogun states, but has no plans to capture the east in the gas distribution pipeline design.

Ah no blame una shaa
Ah no blame una at all at all.
I blame the likes of Umeahi and Soludo.

You actually want to use the gas deposits from Imo State and Anambra State to develope the Southwest and the North without planning anything for the east?!!?!?!?.!

And we have not started a war over this!??!?
I don't blame any of you guys..

Why all these nonsense story again , i have never seen NC people complaining about airport or seaport....or claming that they are the most traders in Nigeria . For the record the notherners are the most traders in Nigeria ,SE people always claim nonsense. Is it the fault of the British to settle in Lagos....accept your faith and move on.

Boko haram decided to settle in Borno,,,,,but no body is saying why are they not having terrorist hq in their region

1. Hausa, Efik, Ibibio, etc had never been the President, not even VP.
2. Ogun State sought for investments and signed MoU, not FG. Talk to your Governors
3. Your Region is landlocked, no sea! Seas are Natural Gift of Nature!
4. Your region ought to have just ONE state, the entire South East is just like Oyo State.
5. Hold your Governors for Infrastructural deficits. FG is currently constructing all Federal roads in SE, Owerri-Onitsha, Enugu-PH, Aba-PH Roads, etc

Was it Nigeria that was doing sit at home in the SE? When you were celebrating Nnamdi Kanu and sit at home, you didn’t have the foresight to know it would have negative economic repercussions on your region and make it uninvestable?

When other governors were attracting investment to their states, what were your governors doing? (Ogun state port, lekki deep sea port are all state govt projects)

When you were busy interfering in the politics of other states and transfering your voters to other states, you didn’t think to focus on who is governing your states.

As you lay your bed……..

Yes that is true but what about big groups that are bigger than most countries of the world? Why should they continue carrying the colonial identity? Germany was occupied and split between the west and the East for decades with one a communist nation and the other a free market, one speaking more of Russian and the other more of English but at the end they reunited. That is what should happen in West Africa. There was nation building here before the British. I am Ijesa for instance, if we had no nation in the 1500s we would not have white people in Brazil who are from an Ijesa community. So is Nigeria bigger than that? Not in my opinion. As it is with the Ijesa, it is also with other groups. The British didn't introduce nation building to these parts
