We are not serious in this country so I won't blame him if it's true.
Our corruption has eaten into every fabric of our dealings, so sad
I will always sing this music - don't expect any revival in Nigerian football under this current administration

They are more concerned with 2027 election and looting than anything else

Watch for fun but lower your expectations

Mourinho's first El Clasico since his return to Real Madrid ends in a win at the Camp nou.

Mbappe Brace. Yan Diomande solid showing. Camavinga redemption performance. Bellingham and Pedri are the topmost elite midfielders of this generation.

Brilliant game.

Honestly...when are we going to ever have a player as exciting as Diomande in the SE? watching Diomande today against Barcelona just made me jealous with admiration at how blessed Ivory Coast are, we are far off in quality compared to teams like Morocco, CIV, and Senegal right now. Even teams like DRC with their all-out recruitment of their dual nationals are soon going to overtake us.

We need to get it right with our football direction in 2027 by all means necessary.

How are we going to get players like Diomande when U17 and U20 coaches DEMAND bribes just to make their squads, When hungry corrupt Journalists continue to hype over the hill players like Kelechi Ihenacho because he plays in Turkish 2nd division. Just wait until Chele is finally pushed out. That when your eye will clear. Nigeria is finished.

Chei you just made it even more tragic, and the sadder part is that.. you're absolutely right. Right now it's just a question of how farther downhill can we go at this point SMH.

In as much as I would love for Nigeria to have a winger like him but the game of football is often decided in the midfield. Take look at the Nigerian 2014 world cup team. The midfield play of prime Ogenyi Onazi and Mikel Obi got that team to second round of the world cup and with a little bit of luck if that Emenike offside goal stood and Onyazi didn't get injured we could have beaten France in that round of 16 game. You can not have a good football team without a solid midfield.

We've had exciting players winning African footballer of the year awards recently but Dimande is yet to win none.

Iheanacho's performances were being reported not hyped.

You are the one guilty of hyping someone now,
Chelle that you now regards or seen as the only light in our football's obliquity,
what major achievements has he recorded for us compared to his predecessors?
Whenever Chelle chooses to leave, even a better coach might even replace him.

It baffles me that some of you are just realizing the precariousness of our football and NFF's incompetence, whereas we have known this for decades, some of us went even far as calling NFF,then NFA the worst organization as far back as late 90s and 2000s.
yet somehow,Nigeria as a nation sometimes manages to make some good out of some bad situations, winning trophies a country as organized as South Africa could only dream of.
All of these is to object that Nigeria is finished,no we are not finished.

Chukwueze once terrorized both Barcelona and Real Madrid's defense on multiple occasions,so he was once as exciting as it goes.

Only that now,Diamande players in the biggest club in the world.
But they still need to give Diomande 3 to 4 years,if he continues to improve and eclipse all Osimhen and Lookman have achieved, only then it can be allowed to be used to rubbish and make mockery of all present Nigerian players.

He doesn't need 3 or 4 years baba. He is playing for Real Madrid!!!!!! The last time we had players in such powerhouses was Ighalo at Manure and arguably Osimhen at Napoli.

Na why I say arguably. At least the club of one of the GOATs could arguably be called great club. And they won the scudetto in style barely losing any game and did very well in the UCL. But things fell apart after Osiwonder and Kvara left. When Diego Amando Maradona was there, Napoli was great. When Osiwonder and Kvara were there, the greatness returned.

Oga,even if you laugh your poo-poo join comot, make Diamande play for Real Madrid finish without achieving anything substantial personally, he should not be used to make mockery of Nigerian players that have achieved great things.

Iheanacho was at Man City and some even tried to place him in the same bracket with Mbappe and other exciting young players then, did Iheanacho went on to lived up his potentials?

Because Diamande now plays for Real Madrid,no Nigerian players can be mentioned in the same language with him,yet when some of us talks about the benefits of Osimhen playing in bigger club, some of you would rather he stays in Turkey and dissipate in value.

Diamande is doing well now in a big club, but he need to maximize his potential before he can be regarded as one of the greats, now he just one of the players in Real Madrid.

And the problem I have with some of you is running down your own and idolizing others.

Nothing is wrong in taking pride in past achievements in anticipation of even greater achievements.
Brazil is Brazil because of what they have achieved.

And of course I wasn't talking about Chukwueze of today, just as if Diamande fails to remain consistent, he would just be another Chukwueze despite playing for big club.
