And this guy was once rated higher than Nnadi. I think the allegation against him probably set him back. Hopefully he learned from that torrid experience and lives up to his full potential. Would he be invited for the U23?

Please any updates on Uncle Bamaiyi?

Daga rated higher than Nnadi? I dont agree. He was just more talked about because he played with them from the WafuB U20 where he led them to the title. But at the U20 WC in 2023, both earned good praises and top marks.

Bamaiyi? You dey ask me about Uncle Bamaiyi? U have got some nerve ooo😂😂😂

Anyway, he is at Inter Turku of Finland now. With their B team.

Daga was the star of the U20 before the WC, wasn't he even the captain sef. Meanwhile dey add Uncle Dan's highlights too now, don't write off anybody o.

Yes, Daga was the most talked about lad before the WC. WafuB U20s saw him shine.

U20 Afcon saw him get injured early in first game vs Senegal so he was ruled out for the rest of the tournament.

Returned for the WC, and played a key role alongside Nnadi and Eletu in that midfield.

And Dan Bamaiyi abi na Bameyi's highlights no dey. If e dey, then I will see if it is even worth my time to post coz I no rate am abeg. But then he does not need my rating to do well for himself.

Oga,even if you laugh your poo-poo join comot, make Diamande play for Real Madrid finish without achieving anything substantial personally, he should not be used to make mockery of Nigerian players that have achieved great things.

Iheanacho was at Man City and some even tried to place him in the same bracket with Mbappe and other exciting young players then, did Iheanacho went on to lived up his potentials?

Because Diamande now plays for Real Madrid,no Nigerian players can be mentioned in the same language with him,yet when some of us talks about the benefits of Osimhen playing in bigger club, some of you would rather he stays in Turkey and dissipate in value.

Diamande is doing well now in a big club, but he need to maximize his potential before he can be regarded as one of the greats, now he just one of the players in Real Madrid.
Mate, pipe down and wipe the sweat off your face. Nobody said Nigerian players are trash. The original argument made by SymphonyRad (and correct me, SymphonyRad, if I haven't parsed your argument correctly) is that we no longer have the quality we used to have circa 10-15 years ago and/or we don't have as many quality talents as other nations like Senegal and Morocco do. That argument doesn't necessarily translate to our players being trash.

At any rate, I also don't entirely agree with that sentiment. I do believe we have quality talents in the country. What they severely lack - in my opinion - is ambition, drive, discipline and work ethic, which our 90s set, for instance, had in spades. That's why - for example - some of our top footballers can be content going to bush leagues simply because they want to make bank, instead of doing the hard work in Europe. We also have talents in the age grade, but sadly agents have taken over that part of our football programme and are basically using it for business by selling spots to the highest bidder.

We've had exciting players winning African footballer of the year awards recently but Dimande is yet to win none.

Iheanacho's performances were being reported not hyped.

You are the one guilty of hyping someone now,
Chelle that you now regards or seen as the only light in our football's obliquity,
what major achievements has he recorded for us compared to his predecessors?
Whenever Chelle chooses to leave, even a better coach might even replace him.

It baffles me that some of you are just realizing the precariousness of our football and NFF's incompetence, whereas we have known this for decades, some of us went even far as calling NFF,then NFA the worst organization as far back as late 90s and 2000s.
yet somehow,Nigeria as a nation sometimes manages to make some good out of some bad situations, winning trophies a country as organized as South Africa could only dream of.
All of these is to object that Nigeria is finished,no we are not finished.
Man you are delusional. What has Eric Chelle achieved? Has he been given the time to build his team?? Has he been given the support he needs after winning bronze in Morocco last year? Ordinary contract your corrupt useless NFF dont want to give him because they want Eguavoen to be interim manager for the 1000th time. It took Westerhof 5 years to build the 94 set. If people like you were around back them we would not have gotten to that level. Make some good? Look at our football today. U17 DNQ, U20 DNQ, Super Falcons DNQ, Super Eagles very likely DNQ. Things are far worse now that they were back then. Instead of you to acknowledge the rot in our football, you keep making dumb silly excuses. People like you are part of the problem.

Chukwueze once terrorized both Barcelona and Real Madrid's defense on multiple occasions,so he was once as exciting as it goes.

Only that now,Diamande players in the biggest club in the world.
But they still need to give Diomande 3 to 4 years,if he continues to improve and eclipse all Osimhen and Lookman have achieved, only then it can be allowed to be used to rubbish and make mockery of all present Nigerian players.
Man you are so myopic and clueless. Diomande is like 10 years younger than Osimhen and Lookman. Of course he is yet to accompish what Osimhen and lookman accomplished but its only a matter of time. At 19 he is already playing for RealMadrid. Name 1 Nigerian player that is the same age as Diomande that is Baling at his level? Your corrupt NFF have destroyed the Nigerian age grade system and now we are at the point when we cant even beat the likes of South Sudan, Gambia and Pakistan at U15. Keep deceiving your self.

Osimhen is still one of the very best around, he just found himself in complicated circumstances.
My problem is with those who supports he continue to play in Turkish league instead of aspiring to move to bigger club.
Now they are using Diamande to rubbish our players.

Harry Kane is the 2026 Ballon D'or Winner.

Official.

Amazing how everything turned great for Kane only after he left the EPL. Trophies began coming in and now a top individual honor.

Congrats to to Harry Kane.
Harry have worked so hard over the years, finally it paid off so well .
Michael Owen was the last English player to win ballon d'or 26 years ago.

Another player that have worked so hard that deserves to win it someday is Mbappe.

Thats why i am of the opinion that you shouldn't have argued

The truth is if osimhen doesnt strike while the iron is hot, people will start rating diomande above him in a few years. Thats the reality of football. The league in which you play says a lot. He can't go far with galatasaray - fan love or not

I can never understand the level of hate and disrespect some people have for samuel Chukwueze. Listen am not trying to meke excuses for some of Samuuel chukwueze frustrating performances for Nigeria but some of these people talk like this boy has been complete ass playing for Nigeria which is not the truth. Let me give you guys some stats that might shock people here. Samuel Chukwueze is only 4 goals behind Ademola Lookman playing for Nigeria. Samuel Chukwueze is actually only 2 assists behind Lookman playing for Nigeria. His career stat playing as a winger for Nigeria is 60 games with 7 goals. Why are some people always talking about this boy like he has been a complete train wreck playing for the SE. You want to get rid of an AC Milan starter in your national team like you are Senegal or Morocco. Who are you going to replace him with? Some of these other dudes ya'll are having orgasm over here for are pretenders until further notice. They need to first of all get fit, show that they are good enough to play at the highest level. It starts from getting in to the march day squads of thier respective teams, then get in to the starting lineup and start balling before any of them will even begin to think of benching a fully fit Chukwueze.

Dr. With this Ebola scare going on, is there a chance some of the European may talk their players out of playing for us because we are facing Congo. Also, from a public health standpoint should we even be allowing the DRC contingent come to Nigeria at this point for any game?

As long as they will be screened Pre-departure and on arrivals with strict isolation/quarantine protocol measures, if needed, I dont see any major problems.

DRC took on Mauritania just last month in Nouakchott and Lumbubashi.
