If I were galatasaray, I would put in a loan offer with iption to buy for Benjamin Frederick

Dude is better than all their current defenders (both CBs and full backs)

He would add immense value to that team

He unfollowed because our journalists carried fake news. I reported here on Sept 12 that he was following us and also following England (his obvious choice). But that did not indicate any progress in us bagging him.

Now Babs and other journos don go gather fake news dey talk. Ethan just killed it sharp sharp with a button. Lol

Dude has unfollowed
I guess he changed his mind

Below is a post from when Ethan was quietly following us. No noise from any quarters until some journos decided Ethan must trend for the follow he has initiated months back. Clueless Journos claiming to have inside info.

TheSuperNerd:
19y/o 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇳🇬 AM, Ethan Nwaneri starts for Dortmund vs Paderborn in the Bundesliga.

Recall that Ethan Nwaneri follows the Super Eagles on Instagram. But then he also naturally follows England too. Yet to debut for the Senior side of England and was overlooked to come off the bench in a friendly vs New Zealand while Rio Ngumoha got his senior bow same game.

Time will tell if we land Ethan or if he eventually slips away

TheSuperNerd:
18y/o CB, Muntari Momoh gets his first Senior start for NK Istra in thr Croatian Topflight today.

He goes up against 21y/o CDM, Adetunji Adeshina (also starting) and Slaven Belupo.
Nigeria has another legit CB talent to watch in Europe and he is 18yrs old Mutari Momoh.

Got his first start today, lasted the whole 90mins and secured the cleansheet with the highest defensive contributions in the game AWAY FROM HOME.

Lad is tall and quite the physical specimen for an 18yrs old. Looks good on the ball too. And is dominant aerially.

Ogbeni I no get your time this morning.

Everything is not conspiracy theory.

If you read to understand and not to look for issues to engage in conflict over you would have seen I wasn't questioning Yekini as a top player. I was only pointing out that the level of Setubal at the time won't have warranted a national team call up if it had been any other player.

Case in point Richard Owobokiri played for Boavista a bigger club in the same Portugal with Yekini. Mike Obiku played for Feyernord then. Efan Ekoku who chopped bench steady with the SE played for Norwich and Wimbledon in the EPL all bigger clubs than Setubal.

Yekini earned his place with the national team absolutely no debate, but he was unlucky that he featured for low profile sides in Europe that were not commiserate with his huge abilities.
Another lamba. Boavista was not bigger than Setubal as at then. It is just like saying Aston Villa big pass Chelsea because dem dey top 3.

Setubal wey don dey play in Europe and won major trophies before Boavista dreamt.

However, it is like saying because Pele didn't play for bigger teams in Europe he was unlucky when we know the Brazilian league was a good league then.

Na lamba you dey sell give juvenile for football.

Yekini played in his prime in Africa before he left for Setubal in early 90s. Why?

Nigerian league and most African leagues were good. Most left when it declined in the early 90s.

You seems to be ignorant of the trend but u are using Google to sell lamba. It is just like saying Odegbami was unlucky to go to Europe when he even won 2nd and 3rd best player in Africa while playing in Nigeria.

For your information, Setubal was a bigger club than Norwich and Wimbledon as at that time. Dis your lamba too much.

Francis Onyeka returned to the starting XI for Elversberg and scored⚽️ in their 4-1 home win vs Mainz in the Bundesliga.

Samuel Kalu played 78mins and scored⚽️ in Botev Plovdiv's 5-2 away win at PFC Lokomotiv Sofia 1929 in the Bulgarian Efbet Liga.

22y/o Ehije Ukaki played RB for 90mins for Botev and bagged an assist🅰️

Ogaga Oduko played all 90 at LB for PFC Lokomotiv

One thing I noticed about Osi is this:

He’s not really a volume goal scorer. His team may score four or five goals in a match but he will only score one, maybe two.

I’d like to see that change.

Keep cooking them my bro
More like making joke of himself.

A generation that gave us one of the most dominant and certainly the team that played the most fascinating football in Africa in that era, that someone have the effrontery to talk trash about.

A generation that qualified for 3 consecutive world cups before narrowly losing out on the 4th one because of head to head rule,
yet someone is allowed here to compare them to a generation that have failed twice to qualify for world cup even when the slots was increased to 10 slots.

A team that I never watched with my heart on my hand.
But today, I barely finishes any of our matches for fear of heart break and high tension.

Do remember that bulk of the players that made up that team was the ones that won the Atlanta '96 Olympics gold, even though it was U23 competition. But I like to include it as one the their success story of that era.

Our present team should even be encouraged to learn one or two things from those guys, how they use to play with grit, strength of will and resoluteness to succeed inspite of any obstacles, instead of trying to water down their efforts.

Once his team is leading, I don't think he cares much about personal glory. Reason he has loads of assist. Imagine giving a goalkeeper the opportunity to take a penalty just to honour him.
In last year UCL match against Ajax, he had already scored two goals but still offered the last penalty to Leroy Sane. Though, Sane rejected the offer and urged him to score his hattrick..
Even at the last AFCON, look at the assist he gave to Akor against Algeria, even the pass he gave Onuachu, he could have scored those himself
