chrisooblog:Usual lamba. You be d lamba king. Oga! Who talked about numbers of trophies? Setubal had won cups and played severally in Europe before Boavista dreamt. That's the point. Stop deviating. Another Lamba, Yekini joined Setubal in the first division and scored 13 goals in his first season in Europe. That made him 5th joint top goal scorer. The team was relegated that year. He got offer to move but he was loyal to go down with them. That is one of the reasons he is a legend in Setubal. This one dey use Google. Kkkkkk. You are too ignorant about the trend but instead of you to learn, you dey disgrace yourself. Yekini didn't play for the best clubs in Africa yet he played for 3SC in CAF Champions league final in 1984. Lamba He didn't play for the best team yet he joined African Sports just after they came 2nd in the Caf Champions league. I say you bi lamba man. You no Sabi anything but you dey pretend. For your information, African Sports was bigger than Asec Mimosa as at the time he joined. They even dominated the league before and after he went. Mr Lamba. Humble yourself and learn. |

EElopa:...and all goals conceded by Nwabali against Guinea Bissau? Oga I watched all Udinese matches this season, Okoye is not in good form as at last season, except against Parma which he did extremely well.He has conceded 23 goals so far with howlers and his coach reacted.I hope he shakes things up for consistent performances. |

[quote author=charlesemeka85 post=141064168] guy isn't committed enough to the SE for me.t9 rate him. If he likes, let him score 30+ goals this season Im of the opinion that even if he receives those fine deliveries in the SE, hell still miss the chances Something dey worry the psyche of some of these players when they don our national team jerseys |

darkelf:Dude let go of your hate and jealousy of this young man. Life is too short to be consumed by hate. You are probably old enough to be his dad .You are still here talking of a goal a 19 year old goalkeeper conceded over 6 year ago. Free all that hate off from your heart and live a little buddy. It is just a game. Football is just entertainment, there are so many more important things in life. Let all that hate go. |

Kog45:Elder Kog45, Odegbami is a fantastic player,no one questions that, Muda Lawal better than Oliseh and Chukwu better than Taribo, even though these claims are very debatable is not the issue. The question of which individual player is better over another is not the issue, but a collective achievement of a particular generation('90s) which he continued to belittle and made insignificant, because they only managed to have won just one AFCON and second round WC. To him,it's almost as the same as the current generation. As an elder here that have seen different generations of Nigerian football, I expected you to lecture him so he should stop talking trash about the achievements they attained in that era. But your comments instead seemed to galvanized him into thinking he was right afterall. If someone starts talking trash about the quality of the '80s eagles that won AFCON just because they did not play in Europe, I'm sure you would argue against that. Despite the relationship of some of the ex internationals today with the public, there is no denying the fact that they brought joy to Nigerians in the past. |

darkelf:Oga big question for you...how many slots did Africa have to qualify for world cup in the 70s and 80s.....abegi go to archive and read history of Green eagles 1976 to 1980....this team qualified for 1976 Montreal Olympics games, won 1980 Afcon and missed 1978 World Cup through own goal by Godwin Odiye.....my point is simple. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by darkelf: 6:38pm On Nov 01 |
Kog45:If they were that good and were real African champions, why didn't they nick one of the limited slots? You're only further buttressing my point for me Okay in that Olympics they went to, what was their performance like?? Abeg, as i said, na nostalgia bias dey do some of una |

EElopa:He say na hate and jealousy So me that criticize osimhen on a daily, I also hate and im jealous of him abi?? If maduka shows signs of seriousness with his career, I'll sing his praises No player is immune to criticisms oga And lastly, if you believe in your own words and you said its just a game, why accuse me.of running an agenda?? Oga maduka is an average GK at best and a belo2 average GK on most days |
