At this rate, the likelihood of him not picking up an injury just before the march games is very low. If not that lookman is annoyingly a minus in qualifiers, Osimhen's continued absence really shouldn't matter to us. A country with the array of our current football stars are meant to be vicious but it seems football is more than 1 plus 1. If they like they shouldn't make the afcon too after missing the world cup. minsfelix2: |

Osimhen missing SE games should be a blessing in disguise if we really had ambitious forwards but most of them seem to always pick national team games to play their worst football. Another reason why I feel it should normally have been a blessing in disguise is that it should give the coaches the room to make tactical tweaks that will give us other offensive options to hurt teams not every time Osimhen and Inshallah. What in the hell is Francis Uzoho still doing in the SE? Francis Uzoho is not a better goalkeeper than Maduka Okoye. It is not even close. Where in the hell is Emmanuel Fernandez? So Samson Tijani, a player that constantly failed to make the matchday squad, Salzburg in Austria, who currently is on loan to Relegation-bound Dukla Pargue in the Czech league, and he is not even a starter there is better than Rafael Onyedika or David Moses. Rafael Onyedika is a starter at Frankfurt, and David Moses will be a Monaco or Roma player in the spring due to his outstanding performances. Why is Moses Simon still on this list? Why is Wilfred Ndidi still on this list? Where in the hell is George Illenikhena? None of the strikers on that list is on his level. When it was taking this long to make the list available, I knew something was in the air. I believe that Eric Chelle has been compromised, and some players on the list were forced on him. These fucking good-for-nothing corrupt NFF are stage 5 cancerous cells on Nigerian football. None of the strikers on that list will make any difference when the chips are down. Why does this AfconQ list looking so uninteresting and uninspiring to me…the list look dry for my eyes.. This is even beyond Osimhen’s absence, like the list no Dey ginger me🤣😂😂

I watched his interview with football fan tribe denying and declining Togo and Benin with his full chest….saying he doesnt wanna play for any of those country and has never played for them before……so why dem no wan captie that guy |

I told you people that as long as APC is in power, if you like bring Pep Guardiola to catch us, wr won't qualify for major wvents It's obvious that vested interests have taken over the Super Eagles and I dare say some of these players have godfathers pulling strings for them Say bye bye to your AFCON ooo I don wash my hands commot super eagles matter |

I'm trying to process this team roster all at the same time and I'm ending up with more blaring signals of questions than answers. But for starters, while a cognitive part of me can understand why Onyedika and Onyeka were both dropped (cause except we're deceiving ourselves here, both of these players have largely been underwhelming for the NT) I'm definitely excited to see a more technical, fluid and mobile midfield of Tijani, Mubarak,Nnadi, Yusuf, Iwobi and Fisayo...but that excitement almost immediately gets dampened by the head-scratching invitation of Awoniyi? I'd honestly have preferred Senioer mam Kelz over Awoniyi at this point...where's George Ilenikhena, is he injured? When does this Simon Moses story finally end? Emmanuel Fernandez didn't impress me vs Russia so I'm not too surprised he was dropped but is that it for him in the NT for the foreseeable future? Lastly, while dropping Maduka is quite understandable considering the fact that he's battling relegation form type of bad at Udinese, but Francis Uzoho AGAIN? Idk man...I wish the team all the best against Tanzania sha. |

African football is different from Club football! Adams out of form! Tolu not suitable! Awoniyi, injury prone! Lookman out of form! Simon, out of form! Uzoh, poor decision making! George/Orban/Kelechi are the only strikers that can strike the ball well from distance yet none make the list! lol! ' Who exactly is this coach relying on to score? lol! The worst list in almost decade! But football has thought me not to underate a team. Our supposed worst list went to Cape Verde and outplayed and won there, while our supposed best list struggled to a fortunate 1-1 draw at home! Never say never! minsfelix2: |

Only Ilenikhena and Onyeka's absence surprised me. Onyedika and Maduka don't seem to have impressed Chelle |

EElopa:Oga you too dey vex nau, relax let's hear from Chelle first but Uzoho I watched so far this season deserved a place if any of Okoye, Okonkwo and Okoye is not available.....Okoye is having it rough this season so far conceded 25 goals and only have solid performance against Parma, his omission might not be related to his form but indiscipline, coming to camp late against Mozambique, well let's Chelle talk bro... Emmanuel Fernandez?against Russia he had it poor, not get the call shouldn't be an issue with what we have in the defence..really surprised Raphael Onyedika didn't make it.Possibly George yet to recover fully from his injury, surprised to see Awoniyi and Tolu on the list, well with absence of Osimehn |
