@ ACID TALK,
Good evening,
I am a sophomore. I just got fifty thousand naira I wouldn't need soon which I want to invest in something.
I wanted to fix it in Fidelity Bank so as to yield more interest but was told upon inquiries that I could only fix hundred thousand naira and above.
So I need pieces of advice on what to invest it in.
Can it get government bonds, treasury bills etc? (Pardon my ignorance).
===============
I know the dough is just a pittance but if I leave it in my savings account, profligacy may creep in, coupled with the fact that I don't get any interest from the savings account.
===================
Please the investment shouldn't be a businness for I wouldn't have time to run it as my discipline is very exacting and admits of no other endeavours.
Fhank u.

Ok thank u. It's just that I wouldn't want it to sound like I'm prying into your personal life. But I'm really keen to know what you do or where you work as a lawyer to make such amount. This is in view of the paltry sum lawyers earn averagely.
=========
As a law student, it occasionally worries me that one may soon graduate and still have to face unreasonable hardship----- an unwelcome development given the amount of money and years one puts in for training. At any rate I'm optimistic that things will be better ultimately.
As per the dysfunctional email--- here is one of my phone numbers--- 070 8258 6245.
Hoping to hear from u.
Thank you.

yemmyyy: very inspiring piece.Though i have 3 bank accounts but due to the long queues at these banks i was discouraged to keep up my savings.i had to visit a carpenter shop one day to construct four (4)wooden save boxes (kolo in yoruba) for me. since then i have been saving more than 5k per month into all these boxes.
you should come bank with Heritage where there is usually no queue, we strive for excellence in service and we av our own service standard cos we understand that the customer's time is vital and not to be wasted and also get interest upon it with your money more secured.

wonderful posts. sure but for me ( even though experts rate saving above earning....financial independence) i prefer to earn enough that i don't have to think much about thrift lifestyle though to same % it still eludes me but i am trying my best. if u have the same inclination with me i think then that the key is to try to increase your earning by creating more streams of income. if u want to create more streams of income i can be of assistance to you in one way or the other just read my topic under this investment thread titled passive income or call me on 08068027745 for details
