You sound as if your transmission is manual. Kindly clarify, is your gear manual or auto? 2. Did your replacement engine come with its own gearbox, or you bought the engine excluding its gearbox (and used your old gearbox instead)? 3. Did you check to ensure that the specs/series of your former engine tallies with the newly installed? |

Hi, I experienced the same problem but later realized my mechanic did not connect the gear fuse close to where you check your gear oil very well. Ask your mechanic to check all wiring joints as regards your gear. I did that and it worked. Thanks shegonchy: Hello house this is an interesting forum and very benefitting. crusufixo: Hello House,I may not be right but their is this plate behind the disc plate that some times touches the brake disc try and use a screw driver to push it back a bit and if the noise continues it must be something else, sometimes bad roads cause the plate to shift back immediately you push it so the roads are also an issue which were you drive it into |

Please Guyz my Honda Civic with no prior signs developed transmission issues today. It refused to enter gear ohhhh, I was on 80 along Agege road when it began dis. I called a nearby Mechanic, he told me dat I nided to service d gear, and change d gear Oil which we did. But d issue still persisted. It wuld enter gear ohhh, but once d ride push forward for about 15 secs it wuld stop. I would av to wait for it to rest again, den it picks when I start. Same over n over .. Am on a rest mode while typing dis. The mechanic was like d gear is weak dat I nid to change it. Honda Civic 2003 |

toba: is it a v6? try scan the car. 02 sensor may be bad or other things. scan firstYes the scan said O2 - so I told the panel beater to fix it, the engine is more relaxed, when it is -stationary but me reaching speed peak in a few seconds, well it hasn't reached that level yet |
