The Senate President, David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark is married to four wives. They are Omale, Kate, Helen and Randa. Mark, who represents Benue South Federal Constituency, is a former military governor of Niger state. He was first elected into the Senate in 1999 and has clinched the position till date. He is indeed, one of the influential political figures in Benue State, if not the most powerful and sophisticated politician in the state. Senator Mark enjoys a lot of support from all his wives, one of whom is Helen, who often identifies with him in his political struggles and is often seen with him in official outings. |

many christian churches are polygamous in nigeria. there are many churches like the Mormon in nigeria. churches which believe in polygamy are many in nigeria. 1black3 white. i can hear so many 'christians' here denounce David mark as a non christian but a church goer. I want you guys to open the Bible and show me where it is written a man shouldnt marry more than one wife. I guarantee you, that you are not going to find any! Forget about what Paul said. He wasnt restrickting anyone from marrying more than one wife when he said "for the sake of the flesh, marry one". Btw, one of Mark's wives is awhite woman. |
