It's not about the girl deserving you or not as a man. It's about you as a man worthy of her.

I don't get crossed when turned down (which rarely has ever happened), it simply makes me wanna evaluate myself. Am I worth saying yes to? I mean I pause to wonder why she's saying NO to me. I ask if I'm what she wants in a man.

Since the ladies are usually the recepients of proposals, they enjoy this advantage.

KiddaBlingzz: first of all, you aint wooing her. You are proposing to her which implies that you both have dated for a reasonable amount of time. You have both professed your love for each other and definitely have good understanding between yourselves. With the odds right, you propose, she accepts.

In a case where she doesn't, you dont beg her (do you?). It could be due your shortcomings as a guy, YES. But the question still remains "what would you do" in a case where you are turned down.
And my contribution was "move on".
I still maintain that a lady that turns down your marriage proposal after a reasonable time dating isn't worth your time. MOVE ON.
