lol . . . I used those double entredes as an example of quality which the king of wordplay( whom you proclaimed vector to be) should be displaying. Not just one syllabic wordies smiley

but forget o, why can't i compare cooger to vector? Any d0pe textcee will also be dope on the mic( provided you've got a good diction) . But it's not the same, vise versa! E.g those wordies don by vector will be seen as trash if it's on texts!
lol hope u know that a punchline is also a wordplay?

yeah, but in a rapbattle context, it's only a punchline if it disses your opponent!

I don't know why everything is seen as hating these days. Why should I hate on the nigga? We dey drag babe?

See bro, I used to be the biggest fan of Vector back in the day. No hiphop lover in PH was into him deeper than I was. Though he sounded very well like Jay Z but he is a much better rapper then than he is now. First time I heard his jam, I thought it was Jay, I started following him like mad - until he deived and started spitting rubbish metaphors and forced wordplays.

You can't compare the Vector who did 'Kilode', 'Champion' - where General Pype featured him - and the Vector of now.

Vector is finished, forget all these hypes you guys are giving him, I see him as a laughing stock.

If I respect Vector today, it ll definately be because of what he delivered in the past. I'm sorry, I can no longer fan a rapper who spits nursery, useless, wack and generic puns like Cooger. grin

I can't go from listening to sick wordies from Modenine, Ibime, Yaylow, Senavoe, M.I etc to torturing myself by listening to Vector. As it stands now, I even RATE Banky W better than Vec in terms of wordplay.

There's also a track he did for Nigeria or so, forgotten the name. Brymo or so took the hook in Yoruba. Dayummmmm!!!

Whatever happened to him.

'Nuffsaid.

M.I is also good at wordpalys...

"Man no see food" lik Oister

"Man don tire, tire, so tey man turn 2 rubber"

"We don already blow, wat u need ta SEE 4"

"I make u the capital..calling niggas caps lock

In this current "King James"

"I'm killing vampires, and nw I'm raising the stakes"

"Call me king james the lebronial version"

"Honey u hear that buzz, u see me swarming

"Provide for them food, so I can feast up on them later"

Most of M.I's wordplays aren't rilli noticeable

Even Yung6ix dy try
"I'm relaxing lik my hair"

Just that Vector does a lotta wordplays...tho M.I is the best in naija

Forget it...M.I is a boss..even 1 of his freestyles he did a wordplay

"Hip hop is the solution, wen u dissolve"

"We lik DO RE MI, but all these rappers wanna knw only MI, MI, MI

M.I is a don pls

what you dont know is freestyle rappers write their punches and similes before hand..so that solution dissolve ih may have been written before hand cos the m.i i saw freestyling on jimmy jump off and bbc radio was as wack as ffuck...,
vector is a better honest freestyle rapper.....who even mentioned phenom?? is it those rubbish he has pre-written? mtcheeewwww

gocheck out godwon.....hes one of the best freestyle rappers in nigeria....he won eminems freestyle rap battle tournament.......

ELYMAXiimus:
no no no! Ibime's maestro lyrics were ffr drops! Yet he flowed wonderfully on the mic! . .
It's only a wack netcee who writes without a flow that can't burst the mic! Thats why much stretching is not adviced when scripting. As it will affect your flow if you go vocals on it!

wrong....not for me though.....i like to fit in many words and do internal rhymes.....nairaland made me switch my style...
when i freestyle i spit long sentences and stay on beat perfectly....its all about practice and connecting to the instrumental...easy as pie..... go check out eminem's freestyles..... professionalism is the key....so stretching doesnt apply to vocal as long as you rhyme in between and you have mastered the art of flow...
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by Nobody: 9:41pm On Sep 17, 2014
ibime.....send me a link to one of your tracks pls....lemme listen to it.....

iamaromolaeran: am the best freestyle rapper in this place . . even mode nine can't freestyle off the top better than me..
he writes his freestyles and I have two videos..one in Jimmy jump off and the other in the factory...he repeated the same verse on different beat in both places and was swearing with his life it was a freestyle of the top...smh.....
I got the natural talent to freestyle....it just comes....
that's my personal armour to rip all these textees ....who at

who can freestyle for 1 hour.rhyme with things around with minimum fillers and still come up with spontaneous similes and punchlines.....

if you can.....pls mention me and let's jewels like us rub minds....lol

Man u aint been sincere just ℓιkε our rap artist! Don't forget we have heard ur audio file?

eminem- am in a church gathering watching a mass occur/massacre....whats special about this??

practice practice practice....
jay z has always been my mentor since i was verylittle and you know he doesnt write and is a freestyle beast right

trust me....put on an instrumental now and dont rhyme...just flow....just keep taking and you will be surprised.......on a bad day i can drop for 30 minutes..its not that i wont make mistakes but i use my mistakes to develop the next line....
imagine girls around you and you will force your brain to do more...you will be surprised at what you will say......
