Sometimes we have laptops that arrive-with minor issues-these are usually things I can easily detect when its described to me on the phone-but some of our customers are sometimes deceived by engineers who make mountains out of molehills.

Example: When customer turns laptop on-it says : Bootable drive not found. Likely cause is :Hard drive dislodged during shipping.
Solution is simply to secure hard drive-but customers are told that hard drive or motherboard is bad and charged unreasonably.

Agents in Lagos with skills in computer engineering: repairs, diagnosis, installation etc-please send an email and get to make extra money.

Foxie: I guess I'm the only one who got this : We apologise for replying date.  Not all items requested for were shipped or available. We always put our laptops through several tests before we ship. If they dont pass ALL these tests we dont ship and if we mistakenly ship-we dont pass them over to our customers. Please bear with us as make things work better.

All along since the 5th of this month(made payment on the 3rd) you've been playing along saying you've shipped the laptop,only for you to send me a mail 3 days ago that my DELL LAPTOP failed 'your' test and I asked you and still asking if you noticed it failed 'your' test while it was on its way to Naija or in Naija? Cause prior to this time you said I'll be able to pick up on the 20th and at most on the 25th of this month,knowing fully well that you didn't ship anything for me.I'm very sure that laptop never existed. Well I'll just tell you to be transparent in all your dealings with people, cause dishonesty like this could give a wrong impression about you!

1) Dell d630 and d830 are 2 different laptops. d630 is 14.1" d820/d830 is 15.4' inch. Yes they look alike -but they are different.We have almost 12 dell d630s and d820s/d830s in stock and almost every week-get other ones in.
2) I sent you an email 3 days ago-you replied and asked for an explanation. Despite the explanation-you posted the email I sent to you on the thread and asked for another explanation. There is nothing new to explain.
3) Shipping policies are explained here almost every day-and is boldy stated on Page 1 of the thread. We are in the hands of our trusted shippers who are in the hands of other people. Items picked up today were supposed to have been picked up last week Thursday. Items supposed to have been picked up last week Saturday-we are not even sure what day they will be picked up. Last I heard from the shipper was something about flight delay due to mechanical issues. We have delays stretching into weeks-even months-but our shippers are trustworthy and most times deliver on time.
Your posts are bordering on the rude and 'unreplyable'. Now you have accused me of posting the same laptop we sold to you.

Please where did the explanation come from? I simply expected you to have updated me all this while about 'your failed test',I was always in touch with you via emails,and you kept on saying you've shipped,my question still remain why did you have to pretend or lie about it that you've shipped it? What's wrong with you informing me about the new development that the system failed 'your test' when you noticed it? Instead you waited till this time to start telling me something else.
