When did Twitter tweets by an UNKNOWN INDIVIDUAL become a valid source of military information?

Was that tweeter guy inside the Alpha jet or inside the Boko Haram camp to give detailed crash reports?

How did this twitter poster guy count exactly 63 Boko men dead in the Alpha jet suicide crash? Was he in the Boko Haram camp to count dead bodies?

I could tweet my friends with long story of how 50 SANDF got killed by Seleka.

Then I cam tweet about how Rhino Poachers used Machine guns to sh.oot down that very South African air force helicopter that crashed inside Kruger Park last year 2013......then everybody has to believe my tweets because I say so

Take it easy. NAF fighter Jet went missing in Adamawa state, not borno state.

Wait till there is confirmation. The Helicopter Pilot who died in Bama, was duly honoured, and given a proper military burial, like any other military personnel who has died in service.

Medals and promotions have also been awarded to personnel at Hospital beds, burial and award ceremonies.
