Yes. It is a winning ticket. Those that will vote against it based solely on religion, will never vote APC even if it is their Brother and Uncle that is both the Candidate and VP. The strength of that ticket is mainly on proven competence to get positive results achieved.

If the APC try to appease PDP and TAN members who will never vote for them by presently a lesser popular candidates, PDP would win even before the campaign is started.

you are right. In 1994, Abiola and his VP were both Muslim and yet they won the election by landslide. Most Nigerians don't care about the religion of the candidates. Also I don't think APC is really ready to win this election. If they really want to win they will nominate Fashola/ and the kano governor as their presidental candidates. Buhari and Atiku have had 3 chance to contest as president and has failed in all attemped. GEJ is not really a popular president but I see him defeating Buhari and Atiku. APC should field a popular candidate that will be accepted by all Nigerians and not just a particular region.
