With the way some self acclaimed born again Christians behave sometime, one may not easily differentiate between them and those that are not born again. So many Christians have abused this born again thing so much. Almost everybody claims to be born again when asked. Some even use their mouth to tell you that they are born again. I once trusted an associate pastor, a born again, before and helped him by lending him some money. He promised to pay within a month or so. I did that when the shop he & his wife manage got burnt. But he couldn't pay as he promised. It lingered up to 2 years. Each time I asked for my money, he would make promises which he never fulfilled. At a time, I started collecting things from his shop and he was subtracting the money, and he also paid in stipends until I got my money back without using it for tangible thing. Meanwhile, he had grown up children that are doing fine. Of course they use to send him money. This is just one out of the several experiences I have had with some 'born again' Christians. I have equally encountered two born again Christians that I believe were real. Their characters spoke for them. So are you a born again Christian? Can you boldly tell us that you are a born again Christian? Does your life style portray you as a true born again Christan? What Qualities should born again Christians exhibit? hmmmm...eleyi' gidi gaan o  I don't think I can satisfactorily explain the concept of 'born-again' I just wanna live my life void of blemish, I know I'm human, I would definitely go outta turn consciously/unconsciously. I am not aiming @perfection either, but I wanna live that life worth emulating. -that life da: when played back for me...amma smile and know I lived the life...the good life... naturally: hahahaha. First we had Christians, then we found born again Christians, and now true born again Christians have been added. Anyway, since some people will behave well whether they are Christians or not, meaning good behaviour is not tied to any label, we can only identify a true born again Christian when s/he tells us that s/he is one. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Who is a born again? A person who's decided to leave the things of the world and surrender his life to Christ Yes we have so many born-agains but the truth is... Being a bornagain will not automatically undo our human characteristics We'll all strive for that perfectness portrayed by Jesus in the Bible but will always find sin staring at us... Anybody that uses God's name to swear by trying to prove him/herself to me,I run. Born again has ceased to exist since first testament,what we have now are just church goers. Imagine,my Ex,after several rounds of sex at home,got to church to lead the praise,and worship songs,funniest things,she was crying while singing. I was like WTF,no be Theresa be this again? John3:3 Verily, verily I say unto you, except a man is born again, he shall not see the kingdom of God. Being a born again requires 'one', keeping God's ten commandment and obeying all biblical doctrines(rules and regulation) Yes! Many people claim to be born again, but I haven't seen someone without an iota of imperfection in them. You can't claim born again and be scoping a sister or brother lustfully when it's clearly written lust is a sin. Someone who bears the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Love, Care, Honesty, Truth, Joy, Giving, Gentle and someone whose way of life has been attested by the people to be of integrity etc. More importantly he must live like Christ, he must be willing to speak about him anywhere and he must speak in tongues. Those are the things that associate you with the Holy Spirit and as a true born again Christian. Those are the things we can measure because "we" cannot see people's hearts.
