The National Coordinator, Coalition of Northern
Politicians, Academics, Professionals and
Businessmen, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, has warned
that should President Goodluck Jonathan rig himself
back to power in 2015 election, it might mark the
end of Nigeria.

He said “Quote me, if this President rigs himself back
into office in 2015, it may very well mark the end of
this country”.

Mohammed, who attended the just concluded
National Conference in Abuja as a delegate from
Kano State, also described the president as divisive
and very corrupt.

His words: “Jonathan is a divisive character. He is not
only tribalistic, he is clannish. He is very corrupt,
irresponsible and he is not ashamed to lie. He has
done more damage to the psyche of the average
Nigerian that any other government in recent
memory”.

It would be recalled that about two weeks ago, the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, endorsed President
Jonathan as the party’s sole candidate for the 2015
presidential election.

This question should rather be directed to the north that choose Jonathan as vice to yaradua but even at that if the presidency of Nigeria was best zoned based on competitive edge would the ever northerners like tafawa balewa, shagari, yaradua had ruled Nigeria till now.

The north don't have better quality and qualified candidates based on any criteria than the east, West or Niger delta,we all know those who lobbied obj to close the businesses of competitors and who evaded business rules and import duty during the military rule and who are now masquerading every where as genuine business men

In a nutshell, if the presidency of Nigeria was based on merit would the north have succeeded in the past to produce the president of Nigeria in both civilian and military regimes.


The rigging of Nigeria didn't start with Jonathan and will not even end with him.
Junaid should start with the first census rigging in 1963
