OMG!!! Rest in peace to the dead. Its left to our leaders who love using important things like road to campaign to start effecting their campaign promises cause we can't wait till eternity before they yield to our request (road construction), the roads won't reconstruct itselves na!

what is this one talking about. Which road is bad where this happened?

Okay! I shouldn't blame the government but blame the citizens. You are only begging the question with such mentality. In every nation the government takes the blame for most problems with development and it is responsible to put the people under control. From those images that road is far cry. It's bad as the word BAD. Indeed, it is a road in hell to Wuse as I can see from those images. Yes, the government has to be blame d for not putting road marks, traffic light, tarred it and put curbs. Not until I can see those in place there is nothing you will tell me here that I am going to accept.
I have followed your posts on this thread and they are truly comical and silly. You are just clutching at straws looking for ways to blame GEJ for a non existent problem. People who know that road first hand including myself have stated repeatedly that the road is excellent and this unfortunate accident was probably caused by reckless driving and/or mechanical failure but you insist on this silly charade.

It is this sort of childish rants that is damaging the our view of the level of maturity of the opposition in this country.

Pls folks out there. IGNORE THIS FELLOW. Let's proffer matured and realistic solutions to prevent this type of incident.

Please say what you know and not by assumptions ....
Blahblahblah! I am speculating not assuming anything. I think if there is anybody assuming anything here it is the person who didn't go by what is on the images of the accident. Please...!

Please say what you know ....Abuja has one of the best road networks in Nigeria especially the wuse road in question that has 4wide lanes on each sides of the traffic ...

I have never been to Abuja but of this I know, that is a high speed collision that can only occur from speeding on a very very good Nigerian road.

RIP to the dead, but taxi drivers should try to be more cautious. Abuja residents can attest to the fact that they are very care-free
You dey mind them. They drive like they have a spare life somewhere.

Now I know where you are coming from, you twerp! I am not looking for any way to blame GEJ and if there is anybody who has supported his effort in this forum I should probably be that person. Go and f**k yourself if you think it is not right to say the truth about the condition of roads in the country.

This is not childish this is fact about the Nigerian roads. They are bad and the reason for those accidents and disturbing images of bad roads across the country.

People should stop shouting govt bla bla bla. Abuja has one of the best road networks and are pothole free. Dat accident must hv occurred by excessive speed or they beat d traffic light n were trying to escape officials. Wuse market road is always congested

All d same,R.I.P to d dead

I understand, but remember that it is people who make governments, people make laws through representation and society sets the standards for what it finds acceptable. No one should wait for governments or laws to act in a manner that preserves his life in the face of gross recklessness.
That is only possible in fair democratic system but Nigerian democracy is far from providing those opportunities. Those at the top of the government dictate everything in Nigeria. The average citizens on the streets have no say. That is it. Stop begging the question.

There is no bad road that I know in Wuse. You can blame the government for every other thing, but not for bad roads in Abuja city center. At present, they are scraping already good roads in some sections of Central Area for new asphalts and people are like, "the road is still good now. why not use that money in building other areas that never smelt development, including some areas in the same Abuja?". From the pics, something went awry and it resulted either head on collision or one hitting the other (stationary vehicle) with very high impact.

Have you been to wuse? That's express road inside town. Drivers there speed like its a race. Taxi's speed up to or more than 110km/hr. Private drivers is another story.
