Welcome. Ma, you need no information. Since you are most likely looking at Spring or Fall 2016, all you need do is to bookmark this thread and keep reading whenever you can. With this, before you start applying by 2015, surprisingly, you would have become a potential visa agent. cheesy

Saying he didn't prepare well is tantamount to stating he is not equally prepared to study in the US because life exigencies are inevitable in academic setting . Well, late arrival of the ordered book would have made sense but still not cogent enough as he is expected to have ordered for it long before his exams date. In all, God will favour him to get the visa, it is not by GRE alone. Oga Walspring I salute u sir, I doff my heart for all the gurus including my mentor Slimmy05.

If I get you correctly, in total you selected just three schools as score recipients which includes one from MD and the two schools in CT?

Well, if that is the case, you have nothing to worry. In as much as you know the reason why you chose the school and make sure you inform the VO that you applied to three schools and a valid reason why you chose the one on youre likely to take to the embassy. Dont worry yourself about it.

Clarify please, how many schools did you include in the score recipient? Can you tell the state they are located?

Score recipients to 5. Tx, 2 in CT, FL, OK. I applied to six. The school in MD didnt require any standardized tests. The schools in TX, FL and Ok are still considering my applications.

They are just slow for some strange reasons. So I want to process one of the schools in CT.

Get that waiver letter. That GRE score would do you more harm than good.

You can register and rewrite the exam.

I think what she needs is a guide. My, dear first thing you should do Is a graduate school research. You need to choose a school that matches your academic goals n also ur pocket. Usnews.com, Princeton review, the good old Google are resources that are going to help you with this. By the time you narrow down ur choice of schools, next is to check out their admission requirements. These vary. But most standard schools require standardized tests like GRE n toefl. Some would require your transcript to be evaluated by WES. Also note the application deadlines during your research. Co's it's going to guide you on when to process ur application.
This is just a rough guide to get you started. If you need any further queries, feel free to contact me or any other naira lander. Best of luck

Saying he was unprepared is auto denial. It implies he's not prepared for graduate studies in the US. He should first of make sure his GRE scores are sent to his school irrespective of whether it's required or not. If the vo goes on to ask, he could simply say he wasn't feeling well on the exam day n that moreover his school accepted the result even though it's low. Simple!!! Avoid putting yourself in a tight corner.

Relax, be focus&declare good thing concerning the interview. It shall be well with&you will come back and give testimony.

You're welcome, sir.

I have a 'bad' habit of reading up posts of our ogas here. From imperiouxx to GboyegaD to Mystiqme to MsNas, to those who don't come here again like before. I can practically tell you what each of these nice people faced in their application process: their e-fights, anxiety, interview, travel, etc. cheesy

Okay, instead of sensing through mail at extra cost, why not scan you certificate to someone in the US to post for you? That will be faster and more reliable.

Whats up godG? Hope you're doing fine.

House, for those in the states, i was thinking of buying a 2nd hand lapi, hope it's cheaper than a new one, or should i buy a new one? any site where i can get used phones and lapi in the states.. i'm only trying to save cash.

I use amazon for online marketplace. Free returns if from amazon store, also, 5% money refund if item is good but the package is broken before getting to you.

I consider buying stuffs after I see the number of stars and the good reviews.

Hi All,

As an international student you are suppose to be a full time student but i have a question cos am in a peculiar situation.

Am doing a pre-requites for masters program in Physical therapy and i have just once course to complete it. So am left only with Mirco biology and Lab which is just a 4 credit hour course.

what should i do so i will not fall out of status or just go head and register only four credit hour and write the Sevis people or what?

Advice accordingly

Thanks

I was once asked to take one thesis credit and wait to graduate the next semester. Speak to the IO/IA.
