I must start by commending the social media prowness of certain Buhari (APC) supporters.

Almost simulteanously as General Buhari was just about concluding his declaration, these group of people stormed the internet like a plague. They opened multiple threads on Nairaland and Facebook suggesting Buhari's 'sudden' overwhelming popularity and acceptance by all Nigerians.

They created ridiculous opinion polls and posted falsified results online. Most laughable were suggestions that Buhari would nip Lagos and the bulk of SouthWest.

Even the notoriously biased Sahara Reporters joined the foray by sharing these delusional pro-Buhari threads and polls.

I feel so sorry for Buhari's true supporters because this is just history repeating itself. In 2011, Buhari won all known opinion polls and threads on the social media; on election day he got the shock of his life. The poor man is being decieved once again by a group of internet savvy supporters who are 'once again' painting false pictures of certain victory for Buhari come 2015.

Sadly also, in these pro-Buhari threads especially on Facebook, you read excited comments from many Northern youths that are obviously new to social media and may not understand that the thousands of positive reviews on Buhari may just be the handy work of a few tens of internet savvy young men. By 2015 when Buhari loses again, these sincere lovers of the General will be heart broken.

As usual, the PDP is just quietly watching this social media circus and planning their ever winning strategies.

My condolenses to General Buhari's true supporters; people, IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Politics is very unique game indeed.

APC is giving PDP a run for their money in terms of propaganda. My only fear is the gullible masses who will get cut in this propaganda war and form political opinions based on fragmented illusions and take to the streets when such veils of illusions gets shattered by reality and Pursue a personal vendetta hacking down anything they came across down in the streets of the North..

I believe that with the on-going experience with Boko Haram, the Nigerian security services are more than prepared to deal with any misguided Northern youth that seek to steal, kill and destroy in Buhari's name.

@OP it's best to allow these people dwell in their stupidity. Instead of campaigning and telling us exactly how Buhari intends to change Nigeria as a civilian president without absolute powers, they are busy organising online polls,

They never learn; on election day, these are the same people that will post fake results claiming Buhari has won a landslide sending Almajiris into wild jubilation. By the time,INEC announces the real results, violence now breaks out.

This is usual APC winning 'landslide' even in Ekiti before Fayose defeated Fayemi. They always win by conjectures and analysis but on election day they wake up and shout unfounded rigging. Those who believe that APC has changed the capacity of PDP is on a long thing. The real voters, the masses in SW, SE, NC, NE, SS and NW are not on social media.

Come 2015, PDP is likely to take Lagos (effect of Fashola), Oyo and Edo. Rivers and Imo are just APC deamland. One wonders what APC supporters are seeing and making merry on Buhari About. The man has not yet secured APC's ticket, which to me is the biggest hurdle for him. I still believe APC is prone to crisis and three months (90 days - Nov - Jan) would be insufficient to settle the grievances that would follow the primaries.
