This is about a relation who had terminal illness, he went to various healing homes including prayer houses and hospitals, all to no avail until he was introduced to a witch doctor who finally healed him. The healing process involved some rituals like burying dog alive and bathing with fetish things.
Now he is born again and considering going for deliverance to cancel the healing but family and friends are advising him against such move as this might bring the sickness back. What would be your advice?

That is a very Good move if only he wil nt go back to his sinful way of life. Let him comfes his sin and acept JESUS in2 his life and start washing a true GOD. Nothing wil come back again.

OP Why ask again? You said he was born-again! The processes toward that have answer you. Unless you mean he was just saved.

He'l need to confess all and live a Christ-like life.

Demons heal as well, but they become dwellers in the patronizes. So the 'house' needs to be swept 'clean' and refurnished for a new occupant.

No one can receive anything unless it is given to him from above. Now, he is born-again and how does he cancel a deliverance? Maybe it is just me but I don't get it. Now he has received Christ, whatever he did in the past is gone, he shouldn't bother his head about what he did then but while it is called Today, he should live by the Spirit and press more into God. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature,old things have passed away....savvy?

You are right but making peace with his God may require taking certain step like destroying Banana Tree planted in the centre of his compound which the witch doctor told him symbolises life and vitality. Definitely he has to be strong in what he believes before going this length.
