I've been on NL for a while,here are the personalities i deciphered from the few sections i do visit.

1.ROMANCE
.
These set of peeps are mostly intelligent,some few of them are perverted. post any relationship problem on this section and you'll be sure to get the best advice you can ever get from anysite. They are mostly the teens-youth of NL

2. FAMILY
Here lies the section with the most experienced set of peeps on NL,these set of people are heavily gifted when it comes to marriage issues. Table a problem you have in your marriage with them and they'll help simplify it to the lowest possible form. They are mostly the youth-adults of NL.

3.POLITICS
.
Here is the section of NL with the most argumentators,this set of people are usually divided in opinion and tends to argue anything to the last point,they are mostly the GEJ and anti-GEJ . The ratio of bad news to good news in this section is alarming. They are usually the adults on NL

4. SPORTS
.
This is the section which is the 2nd most arguementative on NL,it usually involves peeps from the prestigious clubs all over europe,arguing about nothing but sport which in usual cases is football. They are mostly the teens-youth of NL.

5. EDUCATION.
.
These sections encapsulates intelligent people on NL,the sections has many gurus(visit nairaland's mathematics clinic for verification) . The section also have people that argue,with threads like , "DELSU vs UNIBEN" , "OAU vs ILORIN" or "MICROBIOLOGY vs BIOCHEMISTRY" in which each cases the students or alumnis of the school defends their school and the people studying or graduated from a particular course defends their course.
Education thread on NL is the backbone of NL as most people on NL today register because of their search for admission because of the numerous admission threads on NL,but after gaining admission migrates to any other section but mainly romance.

I also observed that most Nairalanders are job seekers (poor)

Yes,but surprisingly they with the most immature minds/attitudes/personalities(except some certain few).....
There's nothing you won't see there,,
Some creating different accounts(mostly impersonations all for a laugh and cheap political points),opening threads to expose identities of a fellow NLander and so on......

What you said about the Politics section is very correct. I can attest to that. Its so sboring these days with a lot of low IQed tribalists running the show there. Urrrrgh!

The part in bold, that's the most horrible and insensitive thing to say. Wish you could retract it. Not all posters in the section are "jobless" or unemployed or a combination of both plus poor. I am active there and I do not find myself in any of these categories.

@topic; the Auto Section has been overtaken by thieves and official scammers. Official because they have the backing of the forum.

Health Section used to be fun until the cliques started. So, if you are not nursing or pregnant or trying to conceive they would want to run you down. I sha pass them.

Another section I visit codedly is the Property section. That section houses one of the finest gentlemen of Nairaland. Finest isn't about physical attributes, I mean a whole personality. You would rarely see fights there and when a different opinion or view arises, these guys trash it out like gentlemen. I likey

The Celebrity section: that's the amebo arena. Any amebo you wanna see, just stroll in there. Very unserious group of people.

The Religion section is full of very intelligent people. You want to discuss with exceptionally smart folks? Visit the religion section. They have the facts, the fights and the forgiveness

Let me leave the rest for others to discuss.

1. Health section one of Thε̲̣̣̣̥ most boring, I stopped visiting some few months ago, when all the topics you'll see there is about Ebola,.
2. Romance this has d highest number of trolls, ppl forming senseless topics, Ε̲̣̣̣̥ .g A̅m I. Thε̲̣̣̣̥ finest nairalander?, rate my pix, andyblaze numerous moniker, etc. And it seems this section has run out of topic, so there is nothing new to discuss.
3. Religion section still one of d best nairaland had got. Great and matured peeps, who argue a lot, but most time nobody wins , but one thing about this group is that, if you aren't tolerant, don't G̷̩̥̊o there cos u'll leave frustrated, with d way some peeps from other belief will insult your clerics, people Ɣ☺ΰ̊ hold on high esteem, Thε̲̣̣̣̥ worst is that they'll abuse your God, whenever you are angry just ask yourself, have I visited Thε̲̣̣̣̥ religion section today?
4. Education very informative trust me, but recently, its seems the mods are sleeping, because there are cool topics which should be on front page, but are not. Wish they can see to that.
politics so many long write ups that needed to be summarised, just visit at times to catch fun , from the tribal bigots, and apc -pdp goons, until after election , politics section can't remain d same .
