I believe 95% of peeps here who got their visas didn't include IELTS or TOEFL . I got admission without it and it's not needed when applying for visa

There was a link to the CIC site some one sent earlier. The link inferred that they would check if a study leave was approved by the employer for the person requesting. When my application was delayed, one of the boxes ticked was employment status. I am assuming that was because i didn't attach a study leave from my employer. But, it's also true that others have gotten TRV without attaching a leave request. I guess how long you have worked for may be a factor the VO would consider if a study leave is required. You know this would be a form of a good home tie.

I suggest if the policy of your employer and the working environment allows you to apply for a study leave, you should apply for one, just keep it as quiet as possible.

Mind you, i also work in a bank. I have eventually had a study leave approved.

Did Medicals last week Monday (13th October), got the request on the 21st October, so.... 1 week and 1 day I suppose.

my application is just showing approved but no word from CIC on passport submission since Friday last week

paper routers are always successful too.I applied for TRV july 10th,I got medical call up september 18,I did medicals 23rd of september, trv approved 8 of october....so every thing took approxinmately 3 months for me to get my trv.so paper routers don't loose hope,u all will be called for medicals.and pray to God always.
