I tried the serum n broke out in 2 days.
Only for me to check the Carotein website and see the contact of the sole Nigerian distributor! I called him n he confirmed he's the sole distributor and said he doesn't know any Evergreen.
Imagine my surprise when I decided to check tthis old thread and see all this. So Mr/Mrs Evergreen, biko why r u distributing fake carotein serum?

Guys Pls find a RELIABLE source of Carotein serum OR use something else! Getting info from skin care talk and coming here to pose as an expert, probably charging unsuspecting pple for free info. Smh.

Hi dear, check the distributor page on their website. Please dont be decieved into buying counterfeit products and dont pay anyone for free info. Go online, visit skincare forums and get free info because believe me, that is what the so-called Greenfriend and others r doin. Except they come here, pose as experts n distribute fake products. *hiss*

I over agree with u. He claims he is a doctor yet encourages skin lightening by advise and sell of products.what bloody time does any reasonable doctor have for such?

1. I NEVER said I was a beauty products distributor or seller. Clinic duties are enough to keep me busy and financially supple (I am content with what I have; little be it or not). I take time and efforts to know licensed distributors or dealers
2. I NEVER said I was a dermatologist (in reference to what the clown above said). For the benefit of those who did not know before now, all my tips/instructions is not within the scope of Dermatology as dermatologists deal with skin DISEASES and not issues like skin glamour, glow, lightening etc. My doctor colleagues know that
3. Nobody here is being forced or hoodwinked to accept whatever info I post. Moreover, U don't pay me for it. I say this because of the peeps referring Nairalanders to some other forum. To be honest, I don't care because I don't see how that affects me in any way

Based on personal experience,I can recommend botanical radiant glow soap.I assure you with soap alone, you don't need lightening cream. Its really scarce now but I called the company in london and they assure be by first week of nov.soap will flood our market. Still check market and stores you might be lucky to get one. Its really a good soap

Abi o,am also waiting for the review ,i was told it is equally effective. Fair and white products don't do anything for me. I stopped using Maxi tone Complexion care cos it stopped working after using it trice. It was very effective intially though. Am currently using Crystal white lotion(Egg yolk + Uv),i hope it works cos i've seen good comments/reviews about it.

Also, how on earth can U vouch so strongly for someone U have not communicated with? And all these assault on Greenfriend started when Iyaoloja (who has been offline for almost a year) resurfaced on Nairaland and misinterpreted Greenfriend's post about her. Take it or leave it, I think that U particularly are launching these attacks on him just to revenge or get even. We are not kids. So my being an Imo indigene (like Greenfriend) makes it a 'joint effort'. I got to know him here on Nairaland, chatted with him on Whatsapp and realized he is from my state. I have no apologies 4 U if U ain't comfortable with that. Initially, on reading the scam alert, I was skeptical of trusting Greenfriend again but after hearing from him and sitting down to analyze the whole issue myself, I discovered this was an innocent cry by someone (which is reasonable) that got hijacked by others who had personal issues with Greenfriend. To confirm this, I saw the sentiments and personal notes being expressed in their comments. He tried responding as much as he could but it was obvious that some people just wanted his head. Some were benefitting from the whole uproar in the thread and that's why I stepped in. So that we could go back to the main issues of who really is the distributor of Carotein, has anyone been defrauded or duped by Greenfriend? What else could be simpler than this? Remember we are in this forum for the sole purpose of benefitting from each other's wealth of knowledge and experience of skin care and how best to get them. Nothing else. Sorry if U misinterpreted my earlier post. Let us keep focused

We are all entitled to our opinions but if more than 2 people are complaining of fake products then its really bad for his reputation.
My question now is,where then was he purchasing carotein products since he just recently confirmed the distiributor in nigeria.that means he was never using a good source.
