Truerebel Fashion Company Flood Nigerian Market With Fake Jewelries by Ayoad: 9:26pm On Oct 30, 2014
I am using this medium to call on Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all law enforcement agencies to prosecute all importers of fake products in Nigeria and to protect Nigerians from the consumption of fake products and exploitation.
I also call on the general public not to keep mute but to report any importer of fake products to Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all relevant agencies and authorities for appropriate action. How will you feel spending your hard earn money to buy a product and later discover in 3 to 21 days that the product you have invested so much on is fake or have started fading in couples of days or weeks. It will be so disheartening and annoying.

I have fall a victim to such and so also majority of us, instead of keeping mute and continuously allowing these importers of fake products to defraud us and also damaging our economy while they accumulate wealth for themselves and their family, lets us put hands together and expose these ones to the appropriate authorities.

An example of such companies that continues to import millions of fake products and defraud Nigerians is the True Rebel Fashion Company is a fashion e-commerce venture that was recently launched 2014. The company specializes in the nationwide retail of jewelry items offering a payment on delivery service Nationwide. The company was founded by Mr. Muyiwa Folorunso . The company is located at Number 13 Munirat Aleje Street, Ikorodu, Lagos. You can visit the website and facebook page at www.truerebel.com.ng and www.facebook/truerebelafrica for details.

Truerebel Fashion Company deals mainly with imported fake jewelry from China, Importing from china itself is not bad, but Mr. Muyiwa Folorunso find delight in importing low grade (fake) jewelries from China so as to defraud Nigerians and maximize high returns on investment without considering the consumers of this products.

I was privileged to work as a Communication Executive with the said company and was provided with an android phone for the purpose of chatting and communicating with potential and existing client. The company sells in wholesale prices and targets retailers or customers who is trading or wants to trade on jewelries on a small scale. Large proportion of the customers who purchase jewelries from the company complain bitterly about the product low quality, some also threaten to return the jewelries after purchase from the company, while others also threaten to arrest the management of the company with police.

The truth is that, large number of the jewelries imported from China by Truerebels gets fading after 3 to 21 days of purchase from the company. Some wear out or fade off right inside the store. Though the jewelries are very beautiful but have no value in them.
Truerebels import millions of fake jewelries from China. At a time when all the jewelries at the store was almost fading off, he bought a chemical to wash them all to keep the jewelries shinning, yet he still sells them at exorbitant prices.

Despite the fact that these jewelries are fake, they are also very expensive. For instance, the price of bracelet at konga , Jumia and Tafoo is N600, Truerebel will sell theirs for N1,000. We have numerous examples of that. When Truerebel boss saw that the market was so competitive and he was experiencing low patronage from client, he was forced to bring down the prices of jewelries to enable him make sales. You can visit their site www.truerebel.com.ng or http://facebook.com/truerebelafrica to see their fake jewelries.

Nigerians, this is the time to say no to Fake products and report any cases to Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all appropriate agencies so as to save our fellow Nigerians from being defrauded and protect our economy. Our hard earning and foreign exchange is being eroded by these greedy merchants without a heart and would continue to make Nigerian poorer.

Another serious fraud against unsuspecting applicant is his cunning way of getting rid of staff within 2 to 3 weeks of employment without pay. I notice that every 2 – 3 weeks this company placed advert for staff at www. and www.nairaland.com and I thought it was a very big company in need of staff to pursue it’s expanding policy until I became a victim of this scam. All staff are employed with a condition of working for a week as a trial period without pay and at the end of the first week he would ask you to resume normal duty as staff with a promise of issuing you employment letter before the weekend which never come before you are terminated on the second or third week without pay. This he does under the guise of introducing weekend jobs and forcing the staff to come contrary to terms of employment or become fault finder overnight.

I called on all unsuspecting applicant to be wary of this company as he would employ miscreant to beat up anyone who dears to challenge him for his pay or threaten to use law enforcement agent to deal with you by bringing false charges against you.
If you have fallen a victim of the said company as a customer, or a worker who has work with this company before you can drop your experience or phone number

I take it your appointment was also terminated.
In your first week of working there on probation and after seeing how Truerebel went about defrauding people, why didn't you raise an alarm and resign due to ethics?
