Dude you are talking as if it is bad to be black. Everyone knows and average Ghanaian is blacker than an average Nigerian. You should be proud of that fact and not try to deny it. Do you see oyibos dening the fact that they are white?
The average nigerian is far far blacker than the average Ghanaian. nigerians are just not black but ugly as apes with protruded bellies.

I would have been happy if Nigerians were blacker than ghanians but thats not the cases. You have to understand that being black is not equal to being ugly. Black is beautiful.

this thread is really embarrasing. Yes im ghanaian, black and very proud of it and I agree that the average ghanaian is darker than the average nigerian. And I get lots of compliments about my skintone when i travel outside the continent.
I dont even understand why nigerians make being dark synonymous to a cronic disease, we are in Africa for crying out loud! so if ghanaians are are too dark what should we do abt it? do we decide how we are created or u'd rather we bleach?? and to the ghanaians on this thread who are so defensive about ghanaians being called black please have a little self respect and stop.It really embarrases me when I see that because its the truth we are africans and dark n we should be very proud of it and not let any small minded people tell us how we should feel about our colour
Its only shallow, insecure, illetrate africans who make fun of people who are darkakinned. the irony is tbat these same fools will not hesitate to insult wonen who bleach.

My Ghana brothers, tell us about your country abeg...cos I am coming in soon...

U mean you let these jobless and unemployable spoilt brats get to you? My sister, as a proud 9jerian, being dark doesn't subtract anything from my person but rather, it is part of who I am. This thread should have been very educative for some of us who are yet to go to Ghana but as usual and with everything that happens in here, the boyz will always turn it into a kind of 'my car is bigger than yours' kind of argument which doesn't make sense. I love dark-skinned women. Ebony! Chocolate! Natural! Heck I married a dark-skined woman like me. ...and you are right cos 'only shallow, insecure, illeterate idiots who make fun of people who are dark-skinned'

True talk.

The average Ghanaian is darker han the average Nigerian, some Ghanians are light, as are many Nigerians. But, so what?

Black skin is beautiful and Ghanaians need to stop saying that all lighter Nigerians are so, because they bleach. That's not the truth.

doubt Emeka is a Nigerian. That is an Igbo name, which means he should be aware of the prevelance of lighter skin tones, among his own tribe.

Anyhoo.......I dont see why some Nigerians state the dark skin tone of Ghanaians as a bad thing. I love dark skin, on any man.

I think you may have to take it with a pinch of salt, because on this same NL, threads about dark skinned GH actresses reveal, they are actually seen as beautiful.

Nigerians need to stop this talking as if dark equals bad and Ghanaian also need to stop parading the light skinned actresses/actors as the most beautiful/handsome. It becomes quite hypocritical when you say you love your skin tone, but looking at your Ghallywood.....all those at the top are light/mixed race.......Just saying.

Nollywood does the opposite.

@topic, my question is.......what is the best recipe for fufu and light soup. I just love it and had it when in Ghana (a place called Kumasi home food in Accra), but can't find a place that does it to that standard here in London. I'm gonna have to make it myself.

Yes, the likes if iconize will humiliate themselves with their bigotry. Anyways, the west hills mall started operating fully yesterday, the traffic diversion has not been completed though. Massive traffic during rush hour.

Its good that the mall in Ghana is opened. Hopefully this will be one of many, spread throughout Ghana.

I don't know whether Palms Mall Lagos will be exteded in the future, because ts actually set on an 11 acre plot of land, although much less is currently lettable shop space.

Well I think there is suppose to be an expansion of shoprite @ the palms.. But it will not be enough. There are a lot of proposed retail centers in nigeria.. So some bigger ones will spring up
