I tried to redeploy to Lagos, but I was duped  (small kudi sha)My friend said and I quote "when you go to a place God did not send you, be ready to pay your transport fare" Well, life wasn't so much of fun, but the relationships I forged made it all worth the while........I did a lot of adjusting, got a lot darker in complexion, I was a zonal prayo under NCCF, I was also an exco of sorts in our CDS, made lotsa friends & enemies too (unwittingly)Food was pretty cheap. We used to be skeptical when buying meat because we really didn't know how to detect Camel and donkey meat from COW meat. I did quite a number of Inter state travels. And above all else, I owe the Lady that I am today and the one I'm becoming to my stay in Kebbi state. Friendly people, supportive, peaceful..... 2 Likes |

[/size][size=8pt][size=8pt][/size] MizMyColi:wow...almost same experience here...I was the Zonal Music Director under NCCF, Secretary @ CWA, etc. I was initially posted to a primary school there  (after all my exploits as one of the best snare drummers @ Music & Band in Dakingari Camp), later to a secondary school. There was no church there actually (there is none still). We the Christian Corpers managed one apartment for fellowships. Social life was close to zero, but I had enough time to think about life in general. Met some crazy tribalists and extremists. I coped well with them. Not too boring though...I had to get a guitar for practise.All in all, it was indeed service to the nation. BTW I love your font style  |
