In 2013, Major opposition parties ACN(Action congress of Nigeria) and CPC(congress for progressive Change) decided to merger to form a strong threat to the ruling PDP(Peoples Democratic Party). With the 2015 Elections drawing near. I would like to get your opinion on the party that seem to have benefitted more on the Merger deal. With the both parties trying hard to make sure everything is even,I feel and think the ACN has upper hand. 1. The party leadership still remains with Bisi Akande of Acn 2. The spokesman still remains Lai mohammed of Acn 3. The party still retains logo of Broom. So my point is why cant Mohammed Buhari, the only significant figure in Cpc be made a consesus candidate. Since dats all he is asking for? Whats ur opinion?

CPC highjacks ACN's fame, funding, media control, and support base through the merger. ACN is fighting to MAYBE be considered for the vice presidential post but if CPC wasn't a 1 man party (buhari) with no souther presence it would have taken that as well. |

agbaikings:far more. Acn is even losing states now due to diminished ability to set it's own agenda and fight its own fights. Now yorubas that don't support buhari elrufai and co are thinking twice about APC when before the worst they were concerned about was tinubu who they at least respect |
