Few weeks ago, Sept. 24th 2014 marked the official launch of the new blackberry passport at events in London, Dubai and Toronto, where the company stated that the unlocked version of the device will be available for customers in the UK, the US, France, Canada, Germany,immediately after the event through shopbalckberry.com. Also during the event, the company announced the device will be available in more than 30 countries through its carrier and distributor partners before the end of the year, among this 30 countries are India, Saudi Arabia and the other parts of the Middle East, Singapore, Austria, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, Vietnam, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, Venezuela, Philippines, Russia Slovakia, Spain, Romania, and Colombia.

This device comes with new features of Blackberry latest OS 10.3 which includes BlackBerry Assistant and a brand new BlackBerry Hub with Instant Actions, users of this new OS also get access to Amazon app store for Android.

have a feeling it may not sell that much....the BlackBerry Classic seem like a phone that most people will prefer over the Passport....but it's not out yet...
