Pastor Tunde Bakare on Sunday the 2nd of November 2014, revealed on Channels TV how his mother took him to a 'juju' man in Ota when he was a second year student at the university for the acquisition of magical power. He also revealed how his father had also benefited from the native doctor.

To me as a Muslim this is quite revealing because pastor Bakare has always boasted of coming from a Muslim home. This revelation has exposed the fact that pastor Tunde Bakare has been raised by parents who claimed to be Muslims but knows very little about Islam. The fact is that a Muslim who is well grounded in the Quran and the tenets of Islam will NEVER patronise a 'juju' man.

It is therefore understandable why pastor Bakare become a Christian later in life.

This incident should be an eye opener for parents to guide their children right and teach them THE TRUTH. Allah will ask us in the hereafter how we take charge of the children He put in our care. Though pastor Tunde Bakare too will not have excuse, because this is the age of knowledge(the internet) begging to be tapped.
