@SexySan, thanks for the confirmation and clarification. I should add that many foreign universities accept our standard of English while a lot of students got admitted based on the normal local English examination result. Good luck to the second batch hopefuls.

Very funny...50% right and 50% wrong

1. 81 people were called for the Digital interview which was later cancelled for some reasons. In this same batch, I learnt some people did theirs 3x and this is because the digital system is new and they are trying to adapt to it.

2. The new interview going on is for the second batch of BHE

3. Nobody knows how many candidates they will call from the 81 candidates but I am very sure and I saw a friends email with other 20 candidates copied asking for their passport picture, cv and some questionnaire.

4. The reason why they ask you to list the names of the countries you would like to work in or u won't like to work in, is for International Assignment. These companies send their engineers around the world to gain exposure. So they would like to know your preference if in future you get employed and they would like to send you out of the country. They recall back your form and look at your preferences.

5. When it's comes to schooling outside Nigeria, then we can talk about Nigeria not being an English speaking country literally. The reason schools ask for such test is because of Nigerian ascent. They just want to make sure we can write as well.

The Oil Industry sees Nigeria as an English speaking country. The countries Baker Hughes request for English test from are Malaysians, Chinese, Russians, French speaking countries and most countries whom English is not their primary language.

In Nigeria, we are thought in English. We write and speak English so why do they need English test from you. No Nigerian candidate is writing any English test.

Anybody can believe what they want to believe, the truth is people don't like hearing the truth...people request for update from anyone who has an info and yet the info is passed on and you keep doubting?

Anyway...I checked my friends email again and it says they will be told when the BHE will take place and 21 people were called.

My status has been showing application under review since about a month ago. I don't even know wats happening again.

People are still doing digital interview. Am not sure the evaluation is completed.
