Though the exam was just horrendous cuz I didn't prepare at all. I scored 980 in total then. So I registered again this year and wrote the exam October 10 last month, I checked the result today and here r my scores... Critical reading 690, math 740 and writing 600 Total 2030... God bless y'all. I'm Grateful.

Good scores are good But remember it takes a good application package; make sure other application docs/materials are perfect..and you can apply to very good schools

The United States can be very challenging... I don't want to say long stories.
One thing is, for an international student it's not an easy task. From the day you step you feet here you begin to process and make sense of a ton of things.
Prepping for a visa is just one hurdle you have to scale... it's not enough for what hits you when you get here.
You jus gotta prepare everyway you can (emotionally, psychologically, mentally etc). Its an interesting adventure. You have to meet and compete with people from all over the world. All you need to excel is here.
