honestly, this is absolute rubbish. You are going to another country to put their house in order when your own house in chaos and disarray. smy sad
Honestly the way some Nlers think is alarming and disturbing to say the least. The president is on a trip engaging other African leaders on how to curb and put a stop to the activities of terrorist in Nigeria and the African region as a whole and some are asking what he is doing outside Nigeria at this time?? Really?? Did you read the op's comment on the picture at all? If you or others think it's only Nigeria facing terrorism threats in all shapes and seizes then your highly mistaken. We have Lybia that's in turmoil today due to 'terrorist' related activities also you have Mali etc. TO think terrorism is a countries issue or problem is myopic and shallow. So you know, most boko fighters are recruits from neighboring countries hence Mr president has been calling for a regional force in curbing boko through border security, corporation and intelligence sharing. Sadly most of his calls are taken lightly and African leaders seem to forget after Nigeria who's next??. The week mr president made a regional call to end boko the next week Kenya was hit with a twin bomb. It is off essence that the president does all in his power both home and aboard to stop the activities of boko and their sponsors. Cheers!

Pink tie, blue/purple shirt. Ok.
Slumped posture.

Mismatched carpet and rug. Fake fruit bowl. Crooked portrait. Low quality photo. Everything in this picture is cheap.

What happened to the 1.2 MILLION DOLLAR PR FIRM that was supposed to manage the president's image? Abati is the worst media relations person in the history of politics!

How can the leader of a country that has lost control of 17 local govt to terrorist, with over 320000 citizens internally displaced, over 35000 as refugees in neighboring countries, & a security apparatus on the run travel outside the country with the aim of brokering peace in another country (burkina faso). Does it mean his country doesn't need peace or that the situation is not Serious enough? Bappah Abdul

I understand these things, but really, even if he doesn't leave Nigeria for a whole year, you think it's going to stop what's happening there?
you want to be honest with yourself...think, all the countries that are having terrorism challenges within their territories, how has the presence or absense of their leaders curbed the menace down...we are in a war with terrorists, that's a war not winnable, no country has fought and defeated terrorism within its borders totally...and even if that's possible it will take years, if not for anything, we should be glad its being contained in one part of the country, it could have been worse...to be honest

GEJ looks like a confused groom whose bride stormed off at the altar. Next time Abati should tell him to wear a green tie or something, what's with the pink purple crap?
Re: President Jonathan Pictured At Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Nobody: 6:02pm On Nov 05, 2014
well..i was expecting this tho but i want u to know that this isnt the first and i know its not gonna be the last meeting this man will attend. For God sake, i personally dont see anything positive about this man...he keeps attending meeting upon meeting, yet no result. For how long will Nigerians wait till they begin to see results? Dont see me as an APC supporter but the truth is that Nigerians are fed up and simply cant endure another 4yrs of failure, corruption, dishonesty. I am frustrated because i and my entire family voted Jonathan only to find out that this man is just a clown. You need to see how i carry my clothes every night looking for where to Iron. We need a change!!!

President Jonathan's shoes looks like size 49. The size an elephant wears in the zoo grin
At least he would have relaxed on the soft sofa. The current posture presumes he is under pressure from comments from Nairalanders.
Poor photo shot by an amateur eye-service company.

but then, you do realise it's important for Burkina Faso to become stable as soon as possible before it becomes another terrorist haven in the region which would have effects on Nigeria...remember the Mali situation...besides there will also be security of the region discussed
