He mentioned it over four times. And he was reading from a written speech. Even the speech writer na connection e take dey there, just like the president. What do u guys expect? A president that should be the most powerful president in Africa but still sees himself as a Deputy governor? Nigerians be like "if pikin fail for class, he no go repeat?". Meaning make Dem allow am do 2nd term. The guy that spoke before him or on behalf of the ivorian president. Did anyone see intelligence there? This otueke man should kindly and quietly leave governance for people that are ready for governance. Even as a local govt chairman, his kind of person will not win re-election in a sane country.

I think the president made a mistake in this. I was very surprised when i heard it live on TV. I guess he must be fagged out having just finished attending an ECOWAS meeting in Accra. No one is a master of mistakes!

I don't think it was a mistake. Who is the super eagle's coach? Why was keshi not in charge if they were the one playing? Amokachi was in charge while keshi was on the bench. The home based eagles are rightly called green eagles led by Amokachi. The one led by Keshi is the super eagles. After all Ghana did not come with their black stars. How can our super eagles be playing with ghana's under 23!

Super Eagles stopped being "Green Eagles" since 1990 after Algiers '90. They started using the name "Super Eagles" in 1990 during the time of Alex Akinyele as Sport Minister and Emeka Omeruah as NFA Chairman. The first game they played with the name "Super Eagles" was the game between Nigeria and Burkina Faso in 1991. The match ended 8-1 in favor of Nigeria.

Point of correction... The match ended 7-1 in favour of Nigeria. Back to the issue, the older generation still refer to the Super Eagles as the Green Eagles. U don't blame them. That's what they're used to.

But, I think the youths who form the bulk of football lovers prefer "Super Eagles".

Most older folks around me still call them Green Eagles, maybe this is probably how our children will be laughing at us and be criticizing us when we keep referring to NEPA

Green eagles or super eagles or falcons are all nick names.
