Hitting ur wife/gf is just a waste of energy just leave her in d house wen she's shoutin(guys mak sur ur car keys are in ur hand)if she didn't c anybody to shout wit she we com back to her senses

It did not happen to me. I went somewhere and while waiting two women close to me were talking and I overheard their conversation. One telling the other to be calm and be patient with her husband. That she should jst endure and be praying he will change

I don't encourage it...
....but some women deserve it.

Well then, perhaps you should have listened some more to find out what really happened between them, because your question to us on here, is too generic.

Op, Not all men hit their wives/girlfriends. The ones that do were either brought up in violent/dysfunctional families where their fathers would hit their mothers or are not mentally o.k in the head or were not properly trained and have no control over their tempers/emotions. In the end, we ladies have been given the power of choice; to make good choices of the men we date/marry. Any woman who allows such abuse should be ready to die.

well I once did and will always regret it. Before that fateful day, she used to brag that I don't hit her and I had always wanted to keep a clean sheet. Well a lot got into her head and she was bent on getting me frustrated, I tried leaving the house but she bolted the door and stood on my way out. Everything happened so fast in my bid to get her under control and the rest is history. Needless to say we made up the hours later and the sex that followed was great, but I wish I wasn't at home that day.

I think women cause over 90% of home related violence, when a man decides not to, they have their way of pushing him. You ladies can help us. I also know there are guys who see it as normal to hit the ladies, but then...

I agree with you. Men learn violence from their fathers. If a man hit you once and you do nothing to put a stop to it he will hit you again.

Also" boys" claiming to be men that were in cults and street gangs in their past tend to live off this power that can do as they like. They need to be thought a lesson and no woman should put up with such violence.

I have been trying to figure out the kind of answer u want to hear because irrespective of what the woman does she should nt get hit. And yes women tend to push their husbands too far but I don't think anyone deserves such in this life

Because they are animal in human clothing. ;(

I do always tell my friends; don't say I'LL NEVER HIT MY WIFE, rather say MAY GOD HELP ME NOT TO HIT MY WIFE.
Women can be so frustrating at times, one needs God's help in cases like that.

Then the question shouldn't be asked.
The op starts a thread 'why do men hit their wives?' Its a question. If they don't want the answer they can label the thread 'let's abuse men who hit their wives' or something like that instead.

We go around receiving ourselves that these things shouldn't happen; well they do and the sooner we find out the reason instead of cussing them out the closer we'll get to solving the problem.
