Walspring:

do you have good gpa in your undergraduate? If yes why cant you just send your transcript to the school and apply for Msc or you apply as a transfer student if you don't have good gpa.
walspring must u determine the part someone should follow .give advise best on ur opinion, not to make it as if that is what needed

Must you make a fool of yourself here? If you don't understand my post(s) and you cant think, why cant you just leave it.

Am sure you don't know when someone is suggesting or determing because why would you accused me of determine the part for someone when you can read clearly my suggestion...

What is needed is for him to think and that was why i brought out 2 or more suggestion for him and its left for him to make his decision.

@micheal if telecom engr is ur dream course follow it. ur physics electronic expirence will be a added advantage to ur course of study don't let someone who is not VO to determine ur future for u . U can have two field " no be crime . Do u know what its mean to have ungraudate and post graudate in US schoool , as for the VO .;ust pray , neccssary doc and ur abilty to defend. Ur self verbally

I don't think you are science student for typing this at all...

Are you saying he should go and start undergraduate afresh in U.S. and later go for graduate degree in U.S. when he can use his physics and electronics Nigeria degree to apply for Telecom engineering? This is pathetic if you don't know even wasting of resources, years and so on

Sometimes you need to reason and think before you quote and put people through because there are somethings hidden in most of the questions similar to this that people asked here..

If am not wrong one of the reasons he wanted to do UG in telecom engineering in U.S. might be because of low gpa or something else..

I think Bigfrancis studied Physics electronics or physics something in his UG and he is doing his Msc in telecom engineering or a course related to it..

FYI... I am not VO and i am not determing anyone future here, we are all here to guide ourselves and you should have that at the back of your mind and stop saying what might trigger another person to be harsh on you so that E-war won't start because its been we saw here. Hardly you see me challenging other people suggestion or you see me adding to it positively.

What's the rift or back and forth about? Also walspring, Francis studied Electrical Undergraduate.

Don't waste your time on these lots, they have concluded already. They are looking for who to side their incompetence. The best for you now is to focus on your visa and don't bother yourself with these people on here.

The trend has shifted from CC to graduate going for another undergrad and they do not want to write standardized test. All applying for waiver letter like its automatic visa having it. Stevecrun, I see you. In Terry G's voice "Oga"!

So pls , am not a lazy person neither am I running away from writing standardise test.....am a novice abt travelling , so I had to open up for your suggestion.

You have good gpa, you can apply for msc and if the school want evaluation you evaluate your transcript then write gre and ielts or toefl but all these require money to evaluate your transcript.

I wish you can forget about the agent and do this yourself because they will complicate things for you and you can do this yourself without agent and no U.S. School education is strict if you have your correct documents.

Try and also ready from part 3 to 6 to learn more and get familiar with how to get things done..

N.B---- If you going for msc, it mean you will have to apply for fall 2015 which is next year because of evaluation stuffs and test stuffs.

Please my people in the house. I have an issue and I want you to help me with advice or anything. I have gotten admit from a school in Illinois for my graduate study and I have already gotten assurance of full financial support from my elder sibling and visa before his business had issue. So it's obvious financial support will be difficult but I can't allow my hard earned visa go like that. I'm thinking of going like that with the small $3k he promised to provide and my program is suppose to commence by January for the upcoming spring semester. Ive not travelled out before and I don't have friends or siblings or relative in the US that I can lean on. What should I do? Is the risk of still going to US worth it? What if the school ask me to pay fees before writing exam. I'm really in a fix now I don't know what to do.

How I wish people like Walspring, Slimmy05, Bigfrancis and other good guys exist everywhere in Nigeria, Nigeria would have been the best country in the world. I can't imagine someone making a disparaging comment on Walspring ' s suggestions as well as casting vile aspersions on him and he still finds a good reason to do good. Walspring, thumbs up for u. Keep doing good and the best will locate u.

I'm sorry sir, I'm a little bit ambivalent with ur post and comments. They simply engender unwarranted suspicion as to whether you have been nominated as the umpire of the thread to decide which response is good or bad. A little propitiation will do, to those whose toes you have stepped on indirectly. Thank you sir. I really don't mean to be combative though

I brought this story here for people like walspring and slimmy05 to stop confusing people when they ask question , give ur own advis.e . Although this story is not me but just to encourage someone
My wife and I migrated to the U.S in 2010 immediately after completing my National Youth Service year. All I had was $400 and a B.Sc Sociology certificate. 3 months after arriving in the U.S; I got a job at a retail store, working as a back room team member. A month after getting a job at that retail store, I picked up another job at restaurant few miles from each other. I worked almost 80hr/week standing on my feet, my experience at both jobs was horrible but I had to do it to save up some money to rent an apartment. On 16, Nov. 2010 we got a 4 bedroom house instead of an apartment (a miracle I plan to share another day). On 23rd of December 2010 I quit one of my jobs at the retail store and waited for some months to have my one year residency complete before going to school.

Fast forward to August 2011.

Started another undergrad studies- Computer Information Systems (Undergrad again? Do you know what you are doing? IT is saturated, all IT jobs have been outsourced, why not apply for a masters in Social work or nursing? why waste your time) These and many other discouraging remarks were made to me, I disregarded them, isolated myself from their gathering and pursue my dream.

I graduated in May 2014 and today, I am an Information Security Analyst working with the World's Largest Independent Claims Management Company with over 700 offices in 70 countries.

I need a clearification on this:
i am using a combined result of Waec and Neco for my undergraduate studies. Is it possible to combine it for my master in the US cos that is my intention or is it possible to apply for another o-level not minding the fact that d year is not relevant with year of admission for undergraduate

please what state will you advice me to go to, considering the fact that I don't have anybody in the US.
am thinking on idaho and wyoming because of low tuition in their state university for my graduate education.
after securing admission for graduate studies, what documents do I need for the Visa application to convince the VO excellently.
Thanks

Why won't i like the truth i.e. I am no longer determing for people again as you said in your previous post but discouraging or condemning people now, is that not the truth that you are saying

That is to say, my advice is no longer a determinant but condemnation or discouragement...

Cant you see that you confusing yourself here. because i cant imaging you saying this.

Can you point out in my post where i determine, condemn and discourage Michael

If you cant then you are a confused person... because you concluded on me just like that without reading through the line of my posts..

Maybe you need to sit down and read my posts to Michael very well so that you would have clearer view and insight of why the post and remember i started with WHY and not GO....

The story you posted is for the gods because it has been in existence since 1914 and maybe you don't notice that the person in that storyline migrated to U.S with immigrant visa if am not wrong according to your story and not with students visa

Don't jump to conclusion if you see people replying others posts because i tackle issue from the root and not the surface. Asking Michael why not this or that is just for me to see things clearly before concluding and for him to say he grad from University and he is going for another UG don't you think there is problem somewhere which he later voice out that an agent told him blah blah blah..
