Wonder how this could happen. The bridge is smooth. The bad spots ascending from Mushin/Ikorodu road was recently repaired. What could have caused the slip? Over speeding? (From the impact on the bus, it's looking like the container is empty, thankfully).

That no life was lost is almost unbelievable.
No time for blame trading. I think this most due to carelessness from the truck driver for not ensuring safe fastening of the container before leaving where he was coming from. He should thank his stars no life was lost, otherwise I trust lagos people. He would have been dead by now too.


All in all, May the gods be praised.

Really sad; still passed there 2day. I hav been suggesting dey erect a truck barrier on those bridges; let them take under d bridges. Putting a lot of peoples life on d line. I hope no life was lost in todays' incident. May we help ourselves.

No o, its Jonathan that is doing d nation bad. Pointing fingers is the only thing we do in this clime, when all of us have evil in our veins.

A Container just fell off a truck driving on Ojuelegba bridge few minutes ago, thereby causing heavy traffic and pandemonium in the area.

It was gathered that an unstrapped container eased off the carrier truck on the bridge and fell on a danfo bus as pictured above!

The number of causalities are yet to be ascertained as at the time of this report.We hereby call on all the emergency units to move to the scene of the accident.
