Hello Mamas, Pls my legs are really hurting nowadays (from the upper part of the thigh down, its sometimes right and sometimes left) . Sometimes, it hurts so much that i will not be able to move it for like 30mins or more.

This didn't happen with my first. What do i do?

Sorry dear. I think it's normal. From your explanation, I guess you're far gone, like really heavy, so a lot of weight on the poor legs, more blood circulation, more wáter retained in the body, plus your body and joints are now looser from the first pregnancy(you no tight again na, no more sisi things) so it's kinda normal. And remember, every pregnancy is different so don't use one as a yardstick. Try not to walk immediately you get up from a seat or bed. Stand a bit to regain your balance before you step out. My birth story- on d june 25th,I woke up some mins to 4am with running stomach.when I went d fourth time nothing came out but I had d ourge 2 poo.dat was wen dh said it might b d baby coming,den I noticed d contractions were 10 mins apart. We got 2 d hospital by 5am,doc said I was 2 cm dilated dat we should go home & come back later wen I c show,water break or increased contractn since its my first time. Dh was angry & said we will wait in d hospital. B4 8am,d contractns were 7mins apart. By 11am I went 2 pee & saw show,nurse checked & I was 6cm dilated.dh dat was robbing my back was told 2 excuse us.they broke my water,d pain inceased. 1pm was fully dilated.i was told 2 push but wanted 2 wait a little longer 2 b very sure even though i was in pain,i was afraid 2 push.when i couldnt hold it,i told them i wanted 2 poo,with 3 to 4 pushes my beautiful princess arrived.my stomach immediately felt empty.i was givin a cut. she weighted 3.5kg.
I give all d thanks to God.she is 4 months now

U don't know its as if a day now takes as long as 36 hours. The remaining 6 six looks like years. I just cant wait.

My birth story.

I was admitted 2 weeks ago for 5 days for malaria, thypiod and jaundice and was asked to come after 1 week for test. So last friday, i got there, i was told my Pcv was 23%, and my baby is weighing 1.85kg and i will be placed on admission again for blood transfusion. I told them i have a wedding to attend the next day, i was asked to sign that i refused blood transfusion, so i signed and left. ( i was actually thinking of the money we just spent on hospital bills)

After the wedding on saturday, came home, feeling headache and feverish. DH was not happy because he said i shouldnt go. Then i noticed if i try to stand, water will drop out from my Vjay. Then came on sunday, the same thing but with contraction every 8 mins. Then around 7pm, i called the doctor, he said i shuld come now for admission. So we left the house.
On getting there, i was checked, and was told my baby is breathing fast and im having temperature and its not a good sign. Then, i was placed on drip. (weda it was hot drip o, only God knows).

My hubby was sent home to get my baby things. Baby things that i havent packed or even bought complete. He sha went and rain was falling heavily, so he couldnt return that night again because all gates has been locked.

I stayed alone begging God and Jesus to come and rescue me, i prayed, held the burgalry, use breathing techniques, for where, no one worked. I called the nurse to remove the drip, went down stairs came up, infact i felt like dying.

Around 2.30am, when i couldnt bear the pains again, i ran to the doctor to give me pain releive, he said no pain relieve. I said, then you need to help me. He took me to the labour ward and checked me, and said u have been pushing naa, you must deliver the baby now because he is in distress. Hummm, delivery team, come ooo and the nurses came. I started shouting i want to poo poo, use the rest room, but wen the pains became unbearable, i started speaking pidgin english, i wan shit doctor abeg help me.
Then, i was advised to push anytime the poo came, i pushed more than 20 times for where. The nurse said i cant push oo and my cervix has not dilate, the doctor had to use his hands to open the cervix, i was then given glucose drip for energy. I stayed begging them to help me push me tummy, which they did and my baby boy jumped out around 3.20am weighing 2.8kg at 36wks and 2 days.

I was given 2 pints of blood.
Mamas, the sewing is another pains, i saw hell. Infact, im still in pains. But i thank God, i and my baby are alive.

I was happy as I av heard it induces labor, but wen she tried doining it she said it wasnt possible coz my cervix was completly closed. I had 2 leave d hospital without d membrane sweep o. Cervix completly closed at past 40weeks

Hello A-Z mamas been a silent follower of this thread. I am 30weeks+ wit my first baby. I have been having leg pain on my left leg from my thigh down n need to leap a bit before gaining my balance. Also,i notice I toilet every morning and sometimes twice in a day. Pls I hope dis is normal. Thanks

Hahahahahahah no vex o! We are used to all sorts. I had to channel my energy to positive tins o. I used to be d resident clown on this thread. They never knew it was a way of escape from frustrations for me. My dear find what makes u happy and escape there. You can be d one dat drags everyone to this placve. Lots of hugs ! Choose to b happy no matter wot.talk to God abt EVERYTHING.Listen to xtian music, take walks etc. I pray God ll b ur closest companion dis period. may HE load u daily wt benefits, may HE grant u d job ur heart desires. Like u have been told it's a normal thing at this stage of pregnancy, but i also suggest you engage urself in very light exercise like stretching. It will help to lighten up the muscles around the legs.
Another thing you need to consider is that you should reduce your sitting down in a place for a longer time, you can just walk around in ur room or around the house for 2mins it would really help u a great deal.
I pray that you will have a safe delivery when the due time comes....
