1. Well as for dont toast a girl while she is walking on the street, its not true. In Nigeria, alot of things brings girls out on the street, sometimes they even think while walking. Some guys have been lucky, meeting a girl who just broke up with her bf walking on the street. sometimes she is walking to where she can get public transport, and if your car is comfortable u can give her a ride. Also i have stalked a girl while waiting for her to get to a comfortable situation she ended up with a group of female friends, now thats not always a comfortable place to start.

Well as for the name, i always introduce myself by first telling my name, then i ask hers. Most girls will say i cant tell you my name, i dont know u, so when you tell urs first , hers will come naturally .

Funny enough even thread clearly stating for ladies/females to reply majorly because they will have a better view and obviously a better understanding, will see guys outnumbering d ladies in replies by a solid margin.
