I'm a 200L student of Environmental Engineering in UNIPORT. Lately I got into an argument with my medical friend. The premises of our argument was where we can work after graduation and how much we can offer to the society at large.
my points where as an Env Engr we can work virtually every where (hospitals, oil companies, construction companies etc) but a medical student is restricted to the hospital only.
please I need ur say on this matter. thanks in anticipation

This is the misconception most people get about medical students. They think u can only work in d hospital. In fact medical student work in all aspect of life eg a biochemist or microbiologist can work in d food industry, agricultural sector, oil company, enviromental rehabilitation, industrial chem, brewing etc as a pharmacist one can work as a food analyst, drug making company, forensic scientist etc. As a medical doctor, anatomist, physiologist, med lab,med rehad or even radiographar one can work with the police, forensic reserch, mortician etc. All these and many many more are the application of medical science but an engineer does not see past his screws and nuts so he would not understand.

As an environmental engineer, we have no biz with screws and nuts
